This was a great place to work with employees that were easy to get along with. Most staff and patrons alike embrassed the company's motto of "don't just join a gym, join a family". 

It wasn't uncommon to stay back at work to help out other staff, management and even customers of the gym and aquatic centre. 

The most challenging aspect of this job was dealing with a few problem customers in a way in which was appropriate and unoffensive. 

One of the greatest aspects of the job was the continued recognition for good work habbits and ethic.

The pay for swimming teaching is less than lifeguarding...must be an Ausie thing?..

Speaking of lifeguarding. You're not allowed to sit down for wait for it...5 hours! Yep 5 hours on poolside. Poolside is about 4 pools with a slide so expect 100 plus in the area. It's impossible to track that many people on your own.

The chlorine levels: well put it this way, when I went in I had leg hair, when I came out I didn't. Not to mention the coughs and gunk you'll generate in your throat.

The beach cafe, lovely place but dodgy to run and lifegaurd the beach by yourself. There's no one nearby to radio for help.

Management was the one of the best in the industry with support, availability, feedback, & flexibility. The classes were structured well for ease of teaching, and the school itself had large enrolments. I gained confidence & good experience. Work with the team was great

Great place to work but sometime the management people have favouritism towards other people or people in relationship within the workplace hence it might be a little bit toxic when someone breaks up etc

The work ethic can be improved as some people like to laze around or have a chat with their friends while working

i loved working for bluefit they are an excellent company to work for. 
i loved teaching children to swim watching how well they performed and how much they improved .i loved teaching special needs children they teach you alot about life.

Really good swim schools with well structured lessons however there is little to no support from management. 
The chlorine levels are absolutely horrendous, never had a problem with my skin before and had extremely dry and itchy skin with rashes over my arms and legs 

Other staff members are very welcoming and there is a positive atmosphere. Shifts are very flexible, excellent for uni students to work in such a professional workspace.

in the beginning great then they work you into the ground and so disrespectful and rude.
they are willing to hire anyone if they are risking the children's lives

Good for casual work. Pay is decent but not enough to offset living costs. However can work flexibly according to schedule which is good. Low career progression

Working at BlueFit was great, the staff were kind and helpful and the environment in the workplace altogether was enjoyable. Overall a better work area than I could've asked for.
