Blue cross aged care

Management dont care about staff and residents  poor communications working with agencies most of the night only 3 staff for 75 high care resident.We dont even have a memory support unit they mix all residents together most of them have challenging behaviours not a safe place at all. We apply for annual leave they denied without any explanations.Don't t know what to do T/L as well not supportive.

The staff are excellent people they work so well together you can always have a laugh but at the same time they know when to be serious, everyone has great time management and great communication skills so I felt like i fit in there perfectly.

The staff in the kitchen where great, ha serious management issues and constant gossip and bad mouthing the manager of the establishment. The elderly where beautiful people and where a joy to work with, they loved to watch me making things in the kitchen.

Blue Cross is not a company that cares about their employees.
They dont appreciate them and they dont listen to their needs.
Managers are only there for the clients.

Accommodating with friendly staff. Good team working environment. The facility has improved over time with making sure we arent short staff which is good. Hopefully it stay that way in the future.

Only reason I wish to leave is to work closer as my husband has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and heart disease, due to this I wish to work closer to home for his hospital appointments and emergency

Had established great culture. Great teamwork. Loved working at Hilltop in Preston 
Great management team when I was there and that I was part of. Only thing to comment about, need a bigger and more reliable lifestyle team


A typical workday includes of assisting residents with day to day activities such as playing games or reading the newspaper. I learnt how to maintain have patience and be working at a fast pace.

Very well organisation ! Love the team snd the manager. They always have support of you and let you grow within the team and teach you everything that you need to know!
