NO Communication or guidance just ridiculous expectations.
No staff replacements if staff unwell expectations still the same.
All staff on edge when owner or managing partner comes in safe to say they are "scared" it is so intense!
Would NOT recommend to anyone.
They are NOT hands on owners/managers but reap the rewards of everyday staff, everyone is beneath the owners.

Blooms head office don’t give any of the staff and support and give you no extra training with anything you have to take everything on board yourself.. management team look out for themselves and have no idea how to keep a business running.. most of the retail managers and owners are one trick ponies and will throw you under the first opportunity they get..

Hated working here.
Wasn't treated fairly from starting date, through to when I walked away.
The manager was nasty and treated everyone unfairly. Her entire family worked there and went out of their way to make the other staff uncomfortable.
Would not recommend this place of work to anyone, not for the work team or the pay.

During difficult times and when the owner was sick, I stuck out to work for 8 days 12 hours shifts. However, when I was Sick I was the first one to receive the call from specialists for surgery. Surgery was denied as I was not allowed time off work. I quit the job after 9 years service.

Instead of dismissing you they just give you no shifts with no explanation and ignore emails and phone calls.  The front manager decides if you get an hours lunch break or a half an hour lunch break. With the half an hour lunch break you still lose an hours pay. 

My particular store was very busy and so you are very quickly forced to work together in a team efficiently and effectively. Everyone takes the essence of the job very seriously but it also is relaxed enough that you can have a laugh and a chat in the less busy periods.

The workplace was great in relation to hygiene and a positive atmosphere that was created among the staff. The customers were particularly loyal to the store which made it a very family orientated environment.

Answer emails and phone calls, resolve tickets from stores and customers
eCommerce and IT concerns
Supportive coworkers and leaders, willing to teach
Work-Life balance, flexible time


I am a pharmacy assistant and working at Blooms is great! The team and management are filled with lovely supportive people. The role is also rewarding in being able to assist the community. 

I learned many things while working at blooms, my workmates were lovely, the work habitat was so uplifting and bright. I loved coming into work and happy faces all around.
