After a couple of weeks of training, you're immediately on the job by yourself and get shamed if you do anything wrong. The customers are constantly demanding and unappreciative, and although we have a customer care team for complaints and escalations, you still get yelled at by customers. There are constant updates on procedures that you don't get any training or meetings on, you're just immediately supposed to understand it. They are severely understaffed and overwork their current staff, and reward them with minimum wage. There is no advancements, no time off for your birthday or bonuses, no pay increases or told you're doing a good job. The team is cool though.

Relaxed job but very very less pay. Sales need to be  finalized for commission. need to listen nasty words from customers, day in day out. Customer will not understand your problem. Basically you have to deal with them and supplier for everything. Some Customers do not understand ACCC law  and try to threaten and harass you for everything. You have to compete with online stores/ off shore retail business which is very hard to close a deal and make some profit out of it.

a very busy place, don't have time to stand around, always something going wrong, I learned a lot don't get me wrong there but the atmosphere was not great not many happy people working there even thou everyone was great to work with. the best part of the job was helping the young crew out when they needed someone to talk to or ask for advice and being a good ref for them

Loved working with computers it is something i love and i got to do it here. It was disappointing so soon after working for the company that i heard it had to close down because Wollongong mall was doing a massive upgrade i was hoping Bing Lee would come back yet never did.

Shops have good products, but Senior management cuts cost by having managers with no experience.
The staff on the floor are great- but the manager is out of date.
Customer focus is very good.

Really liked working at Bing Lee, i liked the feel of the "sales" environment, although my duties included data entry and counting stock and helping carry appliances to customers car, and on some days i was in the delivery truck doing house deliveries to customes houses.

Go to warehouse unload empty cartons and old appliances 
Start 6am 
Sort out run
Load truck
Contact customers give time windows 
Deliver products in time window collect any money owing 
Get signatures take away any old appliances

I enjoyed my job at Bing Lee. I got along well with staff and I enjoyed being out on the road in the truck doing deliveries. I received good weekly wages also which was a benefit.

Binglee  ? i learnt from this company  computer skills .time and lunch breaks are very easy to miss out on 

Lots of training and support to excel in your position. There is always something to do and managers always asks for your input. Free coffee and lunches if at head office
