Big Childcare

Management don't care about their staff, and are very unprofessional and rude with their communication to staff. Many complaints made about the work environment, the safety of educators and children, not only by educators themselves  but also by parents, yet this all falls on deaf ears. The challenges working for this business is trying to implement strategies for children, but not having the support of Management. Given the lack of support and the unprofessionalism by management, I would not recommend this as a place to work. The stress is not worth it.

They really don’t care about their employees at all. They work you into the ground and give you nothing in return. 
They promote the wrong people and don’t care if your service is placed in a regional area because it makes it easier for them to not come out and see you. 
They don’t care about their pregnant staff at all, and when you send in a resignation letter they don’t bother contacting you. I do not recommend this work place at all. 
The make promises they can’t keep. 

Educators were wonderful to work with the schools were wonderful. However management for the area was not supportive and quite hard to talk to. No recognition rewarded to staff on a regular basis or staff events to recognise staff. False promises. No career progression available at this current stage.

While I loved the children I found the structure of the company to be really dissapointing. They never process refunds, have such a strict suspension policy, and cancel centres without much notice. I tried talking to management but they never respond and were annoyed whenever I complained.. they are not approachable at all.

Experienced educators with lots of understanding to follow policy procedures for children's safety. Support from management and training if needed. 

Upper management was horrendous and the way the company operated was bad. I spent so much of own money buying resources and food due to budget and inability to access funds. DONT WORK FOR THEM. Loved the kids but the toxicity of staff and company pushed me out.

At Bigchildcare management not only cares about the children but also values the staff. There is great team work and management actually work around everyone's schedule creating a smooth and happy family environment. 

Whole company does not know what quality of care looks like. No training or support. It's like higher management do not even know the regulations. I actually did not know a provider could be operating in these conditions.

You’d want your workplace to feel comfortable and homely. Wrong. There was no help from higher up, there was no help from anyone really. Most resources are purchased by the manager as budgets were also too late for term.
