Absolutely no training at all, they basically show you the warehouse for a few minutes and then leave you there by yourself and expect you to be up to par kpi wise with people that have been there for years.

Toxic highschool environment, all the staff do is talk about one another including new staff behind eachothers backs and you can clearly hear them, If you aren't in their "click" you won't last long there.

They tell you that you have the "option" to do overtime and that you must have written approval from a manager to do overtime,then pretty much force it onto you with no written approval and make you feel bad or penalise you if you don't do it or have to leave at a certain time to catch public transport (have fun doing 12+ hour shifts everyday) it also doesn't help that there is no organisation at all. 

Got threatened with a written warning because I didn't want to attend the work Christmas party on my day off (yeah it's that type of place..) 

On my final day I got told to go home halfway through the day because I was throwing up (ongoing medical issue but I'm used to it)  I said I was fine and that I could keep working, but they insisted that I went home (only sick leave I had the whole time I was there) then the next day I got sacked for basically going home when they literally told me to.

What is the best part of working at the company?
If you have life out of work,not the job for you,trying to catch up schedules due to being constantly late,used to be a good workplace,if you after a job where appreciated and not your  employee number

Schedules you can't do,due to constantly getting out late,no appreciation for loyal and hard workers

Used to be good,people perserve, no morale and now finding hard to keep workers

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress,stress,stress,runs behind,minimum 10 to 12 hour days as driver ,feel like a number and not a appreciated employee

Nothing the boss was horrible and treats people like trash

It’s good money but not good enough to deal with the problems you come with the boss

The work it’s self is good but the environment is trash constantly teased and bullied by the head

Nothing but belittling and insulting

From day one there was zero training thrown in the deep end having to figure the position out for yourselves. Its not what you know its who you know managers who know each other are just looking after managers promoting each other while the hard workers are treated like nothing. Bullies are rife through the company with no consequences, HR issues are overlooked. Dont work here, if your looking for a job, keep looking!

Hi reach putaways , also picking and replenishing

Horrible management, no support at all and will threaten to fire you at the drop of a hat over the smallest things. Got put on salary as a supervisor and was only earning a few dollars more a week than the people I was supervising. Expecting to be there an hour before everyone else and work every second Saturday but it was not factored into my salary. Everybody talks about each other behind their back and don’t hold back at all.

Poor pay and a lot of manual handeling

Fast paced and some examples of very poor organisation.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go, go, go. Always something else to be done.

Upper management was very disorganised. Pickers were very slow that drivers had to start picking their own orders just to be able to deliver them on time. Always working from a hot to cold enviroment meant a lot of people off sick.

My time at Bidfood was excellent, I was always treated with the greatest respect from my managers and coworkers. During busy times of the year the overtime comes in plenty, which I think is great.

Very busy environment! Very fast paced and phones don't stop ringing, but I love it! Customer service is a must and you deal with some interesting people wether it be good or bad you deal with it appropriately.
