A typical day at work start off with positivity in the morning and getting your work mind get on would come in to work early find out the budget and keep track of how we are doing gor the week and month this give me a drive to start the day would then head down to the changing room as styling in my strongest point, if always learn new and better ways to style and sell the products effectively every customer is different and I like getting to know the customer style and what they are really looking for, we all work as a team in out allocated places making sure that the front, middle and back of the shop is clean and all customers are recognised and greeted, the hardest part of my just is working out certain customers wants when it comes to styling as some are more picky then other but I love a challange,i enjoy every aspect of my job but most of all i love talking to customers and making their shopping experience one to remember.

Honestly with my experience with the company they only care about the image they give to customers and nothing behind the doors that happen. Managers are all young and aren’t fair with team members,  they favourite team memebers. You barely get hours  unless you’re close with the manager.. Even higher up regional managers and Human Resources team at Bardot are ridiculous never helped me with my work issues I had they never cared! I got treated very unfairly and having a voice and stating my issues to the HR team didn’t change that. Would NOT RECOMMEND . Poor  company to work for unless you fit in with the girls and are sucking up to the managers don’t work there lol

Like all chain store's there is only so much self improvement available. 
I feel the set up of KPI's would be better achieved as a "team" rather than individual as there are always someone circling the counter for sales whilst most of us did the hard work. This could be true of almost any store to be fair. 
My experience was good and I appreciated the opportunity.

Work is an opportunity to explore my capabilities and also to learn and acquire new skills on a daily basis. I enjoy working both individually and as a team to meet given KPIs, deadlines and tasks. I have 7 years of Retail Management experience, which has ultimately given me a substantial amount of experience, confidence, knowledge and the ability to communicate with customers efficiently.

Clothes are great, still expensive after discount. There are no real perks and rewards for hard work. You don’t get recognition for hard work and you don’t get the proper training and support to further and develop your skills. So much pressure is put onto the employees to make sales which can lead to a competitive environment and it effects the team morale. Alot of “stealing sales” result high turnover in staff.

My very first shift was awful, management stood in the corner judging us new girls, no encouragement just "do better", constantly saying "babe" to everyone and we get in trouble if we don't say it and basically yell at the customers when they enter.
Sales targets are unrealistic as management take clothes off you and process them themselves so you lose the sale.
Overall very judgmental and rude.

o	Assisted with store and stock merchandising and storageo	Delivered frontline customer service (giving guidance to customers in need of help)
o	Assisted with the stock room management (receipt and pricing)
o	Demonstrated commitment and reliability, and developed retail and customer service understanding

It’s a lovely space, where a resplendent peacock stands sentry atop the bar over a room of dark timber, tan leather, bentwood seats and greenery, though these first impressions are quickly tempered by a dismissive greeting and a number of reserved signs on tables in the mostly empty room – though not on the table of two three of us were crammed onto, even though we had.

Starting my own bussiness was such an attractive option esp with all my background experience..
it consisted alot of long hrs and hard work to make it succesful.
Relying on your everday market, adapting to changing trends and making new opportunites for my fellow staff and custimers was the most enjoyable and exciting adventure throughout the experience

fun and busy workplace full of fashion and trendsetters. Hours may be long but you get a break which helps to recharge and get the shift done. the team at bardot are sales driven and always achieve on selling the stores products .
