On a day to day basis at Barclays I have to service customer needs, be organised, work in a fast paced environment, be a part of a team and give 100% good customer service. Transactions with customers are varied and there are also other daily duties which have to be completed in a tight time scale.Therefore organizing workload is essential. I have learned to arrange my work load so i find it easier to concentrate on the transaction and I find I stay calm as I know what needs to be done and when by. The job is very difficult and I am under pressure as the banking industry is going through a lot of changes. However I do enjoy being busy and don't mind having a large work load but shortage of staff following redundancies has made the role over challenging. At the moment we are trying to warm the customers into the changes which we get a lot of negative reactions from. I have had to learn to not take it personally but it is a difficult thing to conquer. The most enjoyable part is when you have a positive reaction from the customers because they have learnt something new in regards to their banking. It is a nice feeling to know I have not only helped them but I have taught them something. I also love being a part of a team and making sure we give the best service to the customers and I love helping other members of staff so it makes the day easier for everyone.

Our day begins at 8 am and finish at 9 pm in the evening, very good place to work, nice colleague, amazing atmosphere for work.
I learned a lot of things in this amazing place one of them is doing more than one task in the same time, working as a part of a team working, put goals and achieved in very small time perfectly.
Our management was very professional in handling all the issues between his officers and his customers.
the hardest part of my job is visiting customers in their places and stuck in the terrific almost all the day.
the most enjoyable part is our meetings with our manger Ahmed Darwish discussing our goals and what we did in fixed time.

On a typical  day i would be helping customers with services that they needed. I would also help with paperwork. I learnt the importance of customer service. 

The management was very good, they were very helpful and also encouraging me to use the experience to help my career pathway. i also received this from co- workers, they were very welcoming and friendly.The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to help people.

I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Barclays Bank staff members. As a work experience student I was shown around every single department and I was taught how to handle said department. I was able to offer my help through the use of communication skills and the fact that I spoke Romanian in order to help a customer who was struggling with communicating with the staff members.

Working at Barclays for work experience was great fun and I had a lot of fun during the 5 days of working in Barclays. It was so easy and fun. The best thing I have done during my experience was to count the money and helping people who needed to count money. This is a great opportunity for me because money solving is the most important thing in life. Barclays was a great experience.

I loved my time at barclays, great place to work and really looks after you as an employee.  Management is really supportive and had a great experience. 

They are very friendly,making small and large components for mining equipment ,full-time opportunity for new commer ,large production area good behavior weekly pay

some good people on the work floor workplace safety and awareness is shocking very dangerous.duty of care to employees is bad 
management  is too top heavy

I learned to handle customers in a professional manner. I also worked well in the team and assisted with tasks like sorting cheques, counting money etc.
