Unfortunately I found that Eyeware retail wasn't my cup of tea, however this is no reflection on the business. During my time there I found everyone  from the owners on down to be both professional in thier conduct as well as a caring and supportive culture. I have been involved in the retail sector for well over 30 years and have no hesitation in recommending Bailey Nelson as an employer.

Bailey Nelson is a strong emerging company that is growing rapidly. I personally find that this is the best time to be working for it as there's plenty of opportunities for personal development. Every company has its challenges and there's no perfect work place out there, but this is pretty close!

Amazing people and even better management. 
Everyone is super knowledgeable and is provided with endless and up-to-date resources to maintain high standards in multiple areas. This has been a complete 180 in comparison to what I experienced at my previous job, where I didn't feel supported or heard.
Highly recommend applying for BN if you get the chance!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The work atmosphere is incredibly supportive and friendly. Very accommodating 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A decent amount of knowledge to be up to date on to dispense the glasses properly for each customer

In terms of optical stores working for Bailey Nelson has been a breeze, with lots of autonomy and no micromanagement. 
A great workplace culture that is supportive and inclusive. They are still growing so lots of space for career advancement 

Poor management,harasment,enable people to treat you bad.
Even when i resigned the manager was .
calling to my new job and harrasing me.
People that they dont have any optical experience.No respect to the stuff.



The team is lovely to work with and there is a supportive working environment, but head office and management is disorganised. A bit disappointed to see the direction that the company is going in. 

Fun and friendly place to work
Management and training wasn't very comprehensive. The area manager had different views to the staff and store managers, which created problems and issues.

Incredible management teams with amazing support. Incredible working environment. So many areas to grow & learn & be part of an amazing culture. Have nothing bad too say :) I’ve loved every minute
