What is the best part of working at the company?
Great people to work with , friendly atmosphere always a challenge and a great eye for detail needed . 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The dust is always present and the road is like a river when it rain heavy , hence why is called river road 🤷🏽‍♀️

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Bagtrans has a multi cultural vibe for we except all colours and nations , work peace ☮️ 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Pretty cool working by the river , always having a laugh or giggle when a driver arrives with a story of the traffic or the roads or the weather .

I do not give this company a very good review as I temporarily lost my eyesight while working for this company due to a Worksafe hazard that wasn't addressed and to this day has still not been addressed. The company did not pay me out or give any benefits after the incident occurred. This company is unorganised, unappreciative and completely inconsiderate when I come to their employees.

I worked for the company for about 18mths 
Took over a 12mths to correct the hourly / night shift loading rates , once corrected they did back pay the difference , which is good though in a lump sum most went to tax 
Also the place is managed some what poorly in the sense that there are times when they don’t have trucks & trailers available in which case your either waiting for truck to return from a job or your hours are cut short 

over the long term employment  much experience of the industry was gained with bagtrans. also found the management to be of a family orientated group. a good bunch of co-workers on the ground floor helped in the easy going work place, though a high pressure work load was always maintained.

Major changes since I worked there 
No respect for line haul drivers all about the round town clowns
Worked there 5 yrs management didn’t understand fatigue laws
Sydney &Melbourne Allocators didn’t have a truckingclue on fatigue management

The Customer Service Manager looks after her team and ensures that you are happy.

Learnt plenty of attributes about the company that further added to my skills in my career. Met some me wonderful people who have taught me a few new things that have guided me to be a better work colleague

Very varied day to day
No job is hard or difficult
Co-workers are generally good to work with
Bagtrans are willing to teach staff any new skills

unfortunately, the company is not the problem. The Management IS...
You ask management for my help so the shift can run smoothly but they reply with (it's part of your contract to do more work outside your job description).

Its a good place to work with a great bunch of people and plenty of overtime for people who want it. Pay is award rates and overtime rates apply.
