BRADNAMS WINDOWS AND DOORS

A day at Bradnams starts with 5-10 minutes of warm up exercises, this I would follow with checking the machinery and work area.  Depending on which shift I was working, if in the morning picking cases of metal for the different areas would be the first task followed by putting away materials received.  Any spare time was usually taken up with cycle counting or reorganising where the different items were in the High bay racking.

I was brought up to treat people as I would want to be treated myself, the management of this company need to take a good look at how they treat people.

The majority of people on the floor were great to work with, I did my job to the best of my ability which kept them happy and my abilities in demand.

Constantly thinking ahead and organising what I was doing to keep the work for everyone else flowing was possible the hardest part of the job, always needed to be on the ball and able to react within a moments notice.

I very much enjoyed everything I did and would like to continue this path with another company whom appreciates a good worker.

I developed a great team environment with guys willing to do the xtra to which sick leave came down, production went up allowing me to keep the matinence up to date & equipment running efficiently.

There was a change in leadership to which I was then required to do what the new manager wanted, the power went to his head & I could no longer work under him.

Having never worked in a factory environment before I didn't know what to expect, but a bit over a year later I am glad I got this job. Have had some good job variety and haven't had a bad boss yet.

As long as you turn up every day they dont care if you are a good worker. Lots of slack people  that do bugger all and free to do so.as management turn a blind eye to it rather than addressing the situation

It was good at the start but some where along the line they forgot about the worker and just started demanding a lot of things for you to be in their good books 

I loved working at Bradnams, people were so polite and friendly, but it was my boss that laid me off for a week, due to personal issues way in the 1990's, nothing to my belief in work related issues. Love the Bradnams Company.

A good job where to get to practise and perfect your skills. Very repetitive so lots of practise at one thing. Good for a stepping stone onto something better. Wage leaves something to be desired though

stable job that pays weekly. making new mates. could be better managed, they need to listen to the workers input more. they are big on health and safety.

Not many people do their job, managers and leaders blind sided, the people who do the job get nothing compared to the ones who don't, it quantity over quality

Was good started out stores... I cleaned it up then was moved on to glazing where I could of done sill saw work, if capable to put the work in then I recommend
