a typical day was operating a 24  grader on haul road maintenence,

always learning,

BMA, was good to work for,

co-workers, great working with them,

the hardest part of the job was (none)

Enjoyable part of the job was operating a 24H grader (most enjoyable) keeping the roads in the safest possible condition

permanents and labour hire mix creates a toxic culture.
I did last load at night , arrived to see the bus carrying all staff away , I  asked via radio for them to wait. NO WAS THE REPLY .
I was left on site for 3 hours longer than my shift.

Working on the brake-down crew has given me exposure to large range of skills and experienced tradesmen. The hardest part of the job was the time pressure we had placed us to repair the machines and the best part of the time was all the different kind of jobs that would pop up.
