What is the best part of working at the company?
Great people to work with...hard work but with experience and methodology can complete work with satisfaction 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of work and training...scheduling favours Team Leaders who are given 40-60 hours per week (even on Helper tasks)  Helpers are given an average of 4 hours per week 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Working in a variety of stores is great...the culture of the company however is below average....no training and development, resources not provided, indifferent attitude from management...not family friendly...overall... uncomfortable 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Great...I work hard and complete tasks assigned usually well under allocated time... however I feel a lack of support and praise from management

At BIG the biggest constraints was if your not fit then the job is not for you. Otherwise the culture, team leaders and environment is great. It's pretty much out on your own with an ipad which is user friendly but if you have a problem which doesn't happen so often then the team leaders are available. It's really easy work good for a beginner or fit senior wanting to fill in the gaps.

Negotiating with Store Managers in ways to have products displayed well and offering my assistance in having these ideas placed on the floor so these items can be sold.

Over the years, I have developed a sound way to work with others all for the purpose to achieve a better workplace environment where all are happy to be part of a group all for the purpose to sell sell sell further more enjoying the tasks set before us no matter what comes in accomplishing the goal.

Flexibility, meeting and working with awesome people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Inconsistent working hours.  You open up availabilty but get no work so you take on a second job then the next week you get 20 hours then the following week NOTHING

Management try to balance it out but they give work to their favourites

Working in a team to smash put big Planagrams

Brand Influence Group was a great and flexible work experience. It was flexible because of uni I had time to do my assignments and had time to do the jobs I was given. Work was allowed to be done at my own time as long as it was done by the due date.

I had a great team leader who was always kind and worked side by side with. She was friendly and whenever you needed help she will help you. Working in different environments everyday was a bit hard but after a while you get used to it.

The territory manager only cares about how speedy you get the task done. If it goes over the assumed time they called and asked why. I felt pressured by time. Poor management to assist staff and felt like they didn't care about their employees. Also couldn't see any career progression. Just hours of work and the pressure to do the tasks without much support and guidance. 

I worked at BIG last year as a merchandiser. I really enjoyed the flexibility that came with the job as I have 4 kids at school. The systems in place are easy to navigate and you can control how many hours you work. I always worked with well known brands so my customers were always happy to see me. If you're looking for casual, flexible and fun work then I highly recommend merchandising with BIG.

It was a great company and my area manager was so helpful and easy to get hold of

The store mangers  sometimes they weren’t helpful and this made the job hard

Great ,you are basically your own boss

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Checking in and finding the store mangers and then looking at your iPad to see what your jobs are

The job itself is great when working alone, group tasks can be annoying to schedule as you have to rely on others and when those people don’t pull their weight management doesn’t seem to care. Unfortunately there is constant upper management change so as soon as you feel heard and that changes  are coming the manager quits and it’s back to square one. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Communication is great , managers are lovely to work with and Cole’s staff are amazing

Getting to learn the ropes but after that it’s easy sailing

It’s a pretty autonomous role so culture is different at each store

Every day is different but enjoyable and rewarding
