My typical day at work would consist of helping customers with car products, helping to find the spare car part they need in cluding the right oil for their car, I have Learned a great Deal about cars and would love to keep learning about them, My co-workers are great support we all help each other out and get alone well out side of work as well.
The Hardest Part would be that i am Female you tend to get people in that will ignore you as they believe that i am unable to help them but most times i have helped them and they tend to come back into the store and ask for my help once i have proven them wrong.
Most enjoyable part Helping the customer to get a part for their car that they have been unable to get else where and of course seeing the many different cars that customers drive and learning about that car.

start the day with a smile thoroughly enjoyed the customers and the challenges od working there. i completed my certificate 3 in January which was a very detailed course. There was always programs to learn about individual products and the training from auto barn for customer service was high. I made some good friends there miss working there .The managers right down to the casuals were all friendly. The hardest part was spare parts trying to find them the right part the customer required. the most enjoyable was seeing the customers come back and get to know them personally and the satisfaction of helping them get what they were after

I have been with this company a long time and the glory days have gone. unfortunately the general manager leaves alot to be desired. There is a distinct lack of providing an actual support network to his network managers and store managers (a fish rots from the head down). A philosophy built on a if they can't do an unrealistic target set job then we will keep squeezing staff out of the business untill we find someone who can is not really a solution. To not support a struggling workforce also dosent really align with your alleged company values. Unfortunately I have seen good people leave due to this lack of support. 

Working at Autobarn Wonthaggi is fun. It is a good place to work, the people are friendly and are always willing to help you when you need it. weather it is a customer or a colleague. For me a day consist of driving to other automotive business to deliver parts, helping customers and cleaning the store. The hardest part of the job is trying to find the right part or right product for the customer, with so many different cars in the world in can be difficult. That is what makes it enjoyable, never the same day.

I worked at Autobarn for a year. During that year, I was yelled at, berated, belittled, and screamed at regularly by the manager of the store I worked for. The Head office did little to help and didn't care about any complaints. Not that this is a surprise as I worked in receivables regularly and there was never a day with a correct order arriving from head office. The pay was abysmal, and the hours were long and hard. I would not recommend to anyone.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good discount and variety of products. Fun team atmosphere. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The change of management every few months. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Relaxed environment for the most part. Good culture among staff

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Helping customers find and order items, working the front desk, putting away/facing up stock and updating prices.

Cleaning the store, stocking shelves and serving customer finding parts and accessories for cars.
Learnt how to use different systems for sales as well as GLOBAL for stock and Oscar for parts referencing
The culture is laid back even though busy most of the time.
Really enjoyable factor was working at a car part store and learning more about my interests.

I absolutely loved working here, I was taught a lot about seat covers, cleaning products & accessories with so much more to be learned. This was by far my most favourite job so far.

The only down side would be that there isn't enough customers coming in, so in turn not enough work.

All the staff, including the owners & management, were great to work with. It was a fun place to work at as well.

The opportunity to put my skills of Parts Interpreting and Customer Service into action was great. Friendly staff and great working environment. The hardest part of the job was when we didn't have many customers. Most enjoyable part - being busy and being able to help.
