At Australian Pacific College my typical day was busy, busy and busy!! However, whereas some people may not see this as a positive work aspect I did. I think this is due to my organisational skills and prioritizing was natural for me to perform. 

Management at the college were very approachable and regular meetings ensured any problems encountered were solved quickly. And gave me the opportunity to ask questions/clarify things I was unsure of. This situation developed good relationships between management and co-workers and due to this the college was a pleasure to be part of. 

The hardest part of the job was prompting students and other co-workers for information required by myself in order for me to perform my job properly. Certain documents I needed were not given to me by the proposed deadline. Meeting deadlines is one of my qualities and for others this may not be the case.

Interacting with staff, students and visitors was the most enjoyable part of my job, as I found taking the time to spark a friendly conversation with people helped them as well as myself. In a away of creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere.

Campus staff are some of the best you’ll meet - supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. Students are great and supporting them becomes a lifeline to your own mental health from working here. 

Upper management and directors are not good. Unethical and disrespectful towards staff. Gaslighting, reframing and rudeness are experienced daily. 

I implore you to not work here - there are better opportunities out there. 

I enjoy working at APC. I would love to recommend this place for anyone who is interesting in an professional atmosphere but also quite friendly. I have gained a lot of experiences at APC. I love all my colleagues. They are not only motivated but also great trainers. I will never forget my time at APC.

Due to high turnover, it is hard to provide proper training to new staff members. Therefore, seniors tend to take more jobs and cover/support new staff members' work to make the company run.

 GENRES OF EDUCATION.

APC is a great corporate work environment for anyone looking to gain experience in that industry. The staff make APC a joy to work at and are extremely thoughtful and helpful.

As in any place the important factor for a nice place to work is its people and APC has it. Great coworkers, polite and ready to work as a team, management and staff are nice with their people.

Great place to study I studied certificate IV Human Resources and then continued to complete a Management Diploma in Human Resources. The staff were very helpful and supportive.
