Australian Green Clean

Worked there for over a year. If you wanted more hours you basically had to beg for it. You sent in when you were available via email periodically. I did this, yet would get a phone call saying "oh you have changed your available hours recently" Yes, I did... 4 months ago. They pay fortnightly, as a casual you pay too much tax, yes you get it back at tax time but have to go without it week to week. Every supervisor worked the same job totally differently, even from worker to worker on the same shift, there was always something to pick on, like yesterday you were told one thing and today you did that same thing the same way, but no... today you did it wrong. 

I really enjoyed working at Australian Green Clean. The pay was extremely good, especially on public holidays. 
The management team is great, very approachable, kind and understanding. During big events its great to see that the management team is on site long hours to help the workers get the job done! They definitely lead by example. Overall if you're doing your job and putting in the effort you will be acknowledge for it. Great place to work!

The people you work with and the managers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with grumpy public. Sometimes they can be very intoxicated at different events.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent, we work had and have so much fun at the same time.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get in, get your teams instructions for the day and then crack on and get the job done.

This job will require a lot from you, the hours are generally odd and people will treat you poorly in general. The pay is pretty good though so there’s that. The job is dirty and it’s likely you’ll be covered in whatever job you did that day and you are more or less thrown into the job after watching a video game explaining what to do. I screenshot important bits so I could also check to make sure I was doing the right thing because you are mostly working by yourself, while your coworkers may be nearby. 

Never have I ever been so overworked, underpaid, under appreciated, under trained and stressed. The most toxic work environment I've ever experienced in my life. The casual staff are mostly amazing, and work like dogs. Some of the management are amazing, the rest are not management material. They will continue to have high staff turnover if they don't support and properly pay them. Would not recommend working here. Ever.

Work place environment was extremely comfortable and likeable. Easy going and interesting.  Fun to work, competetive and collaborative atmosphere. Competitive salary and benefits package; good, frequent communication; and mindfulness of a positive company culture, mission, vision and values. 

If this place was managed by people who knew what they were doing it'd be great but unfortunately the GM has no idea and neither does the Operations Manager.  It's a job for the boys (or girls in this case) type of place.  

I worked with them during events and found that management was often overworked and drawn thin, while there was lots of new unreliable staff (new staff for event work). Additionally there has been minimal shift offers since the closure of the event.

I was happy to work with my leader. Work is tough but you get paid pretty accurately.  Need to pay attention on the app to make sure of your work location regularly. Pretty good experience but it is indeed hard work and should be paying more

Got worse the longer I was there no communication from boss an still no response..never a phrase for doing good jobs,an never replaced cleaning items...always worked us hard,an not a thank u in return..
