Australian Air Express

AaE was a friendly place to work with an emphasis on team work. In a typical day I would liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to an array of special services provided by the company. In this role I learnt the importance of effective communication, multi-tasking, prioritization, problem solving and risk analysis. My colleagues were hard working and we, as team, were always willing to assist where required if it did not hinder our own work. The most difficult part of my job was not always having the support of higher management on important client issues. Besides from the team I was apart of, the most enjoyable part of my job was solving problems before they arose, and relating to customers using interpersonal skills. This not only enhanced our business relationship, but their relationship with the organisation.

Due to Qantas take over from AaE our whole department and corporate office where made redundant.

. Typical day at work, will be organising the day and also make allowance for problem solving.

. My experience the last 10 years has always taught me to do my best, there is no such hardest in a job always room for improvement.

. I highly respect  management and work well with my co-workers we have a great working relationship.

. I enjoyed every part of my job including making cup of tea for my boss every morning.

my days were tiring heavy but l liked doing what l did l learned how to deal with people in varied roles and positions l enjoyed working with people who l could Learn from or teach.

the hardest part of the job would have to be making sure all my customers where happy with there service.

During my time with Australian Air Express i was given the opportunity to learn and advance myself. I became a part of the company like family. A brilliant place to work with fantastic people, i only wish i were still there. Thank you for the many years of great employment.

Working with my colleagues was fun as everyone had a team spirit. nobody had any problems helping anyone at work, we were time bond then too their was fun, chatting, humor & so was work completed. It is good to work in  such healthy atmosphere.

Great working environment, easy to manage my own workload at Track & Trace ( Lost freight), Good culture, Unfortunately our jobs closed to other enetrprises within AAE.

i loved loved loved working for this company. it was very unfortunate that the area i was in no longer was needed and the company merged with another company.

Great place to work and also excellent training opportunities.
