What is the best part of working at the company?
Good people…team work is very important in any work place and I can bet I got the best manager and team mates. sometimes the owners would visit and talk to staffs even when they are busy and have to look after multiple stores. I love everything about working here❤️

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Probably patiently dealing with rude customer. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly and welcoming. Everyone loves to share their culture

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work with fun. serving  lovely costumers most of the time. Arranging and tidying stuffs.

This company is great for job security and to learn new skills. 
ATG doesn't offer acknowledgement to country. Considering its a gift shop for tourist, and sells many Aboriginal products, they don't offer training for cultural awareness.  This lack of training & education affects the customers & staff. 
This company makes high profits, and keep all departments short staffed. It's a very high stress job. With the hierarchy power in place...it's the typical work structure...profit over the people. 
They have unrealistic expectations from employees. Making you feel burnt out and unhappy. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
None the management is toxic hires to many people when the hours are not available 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The manager herself has know idea how to run a shop

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic everyone out there do not work for thus company

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful had some great team member members but overall awful

A typical day involved being talked down to by the manager or gossiped behind your back by manager and another coworker. The two of them would stand at the counter and “quietly” (they aren’t they good at whispering) whisper and then stare at you. The manager at this store needs to have training on how to treat staff. It’s all very middle school behaviour. 

The best part of the day was the last 5 minutes where you realise you get to home and not have to worry about this 

It was my only time as a sales person and I enjoyed it. It was usually busy as it was located on Hamilton Island and that is a popular tourist location. I had a lot of fun working there and also enjoyed the social life.

owners  are a wonderful family, are involved in the business

it is a family-owned company and has very good people work with.
salary is normal and benefit is normal
most of the work-life balance if you do part-time
not a big progress space but fairly good for some people who enjoy doing retail.
