Apprenticeships Are Us

This Apprenticeship group has been the hardest to succeed and strive in, I have had multiple trainers and been messed around with my tafe stuff because I’m not in Sydney and it’s too hard. I’ve had multiple mentors because none of them can come out of Sydney because it’s too much of an issue. The whole first year of my apprenticeship I did not see anyone for tafe after being told they would come to me, second year was terrible as I barely saw the trainer. Now I’ve come into my fourth year all the tafe work is being crammed in after we switched from My Trade Start to the IAME. If you aren’t based in Sydney don’t use this company because they don’t make time for you. I did no work health and safety training when I first started, my complaints have gone unheard, my pays have been stuffed around but that only just got half resolved, I gave up on trying to get my work clothes from them because no one ever brought it down, then they say they’ll reimburse you for what you spend on work items and you only get a little tiny bit back. I would not recommend this group to anyone they are such a stuff around. The only enjoyable thing about this group is my host company. 

They offered me a job that I didn't want that was over 80km from were I lived and told me that I should take the job because what I wanted to do wouldn't be possible. When I did except the job it took 9 months for them to organize my tafe course and after that I was not given any assistance with my tafe work and any complaints from me about my working environment and the way I was being treated by my boss was swept under the rug and forgotten about.  Overall the worst place I have ever been with.

I came to Apprenticeships R Us with no experience, not sure what I wanted to do. They helped me out from the very beginning and have always been supportive. I completed an automotive pre-apprenticeship through them and they helped me find work placement, as well as a full time job as a light vehicle mechanic apprentice. I love my job and cannot thank them enough for all of their support and guidance.

Have had a great experience working with Apprenticeships are us for the last few years, they have been super accommodating of my personal circumstances and making sure I'm ok, always been treated well. Being a mature age apprentice they found me a position perfect for what I needed and the business needed.

This company is a great establishment to work at. At this company has friendly staff. It is a really great to work, they support you through your entire apprenticeship witch is four years.

The most enjoyable part of the job was feeling like you were making a difference.

Workplace culture needs to be worked on. Management seemed to chop and change their mind from day to day which presented challenges. 



I've been employed by other apprenticeship groups in the past but when I came to apprenticeships r us, you could really tell that they were there to help you with your career and they did whatever they could to help you. Great group.

Overall apprenticeships r us has made me feel like I am in good hands and make me feel safe and happy. I have settled well into the job and really enjoying the work I am doing. Apprenticeships r us have given me a good chance to succeed in my apprenticeship

Excellent friendly staff who will help find you an apprenticeship in the automotive industry fast and simply. They can also assist you by providing an opal card, apprentice loan and a basic tool set. Overall I highly recommend them.

I really enjoyed my time working for apprenticeships R us. I was paid on time, uniform provided bu apprenticeships R us, PPE was suppled by apprenticeships R us. Will be recommending apprenticeships R urs to all my friends and family
