A typical day at work involves serving customers, restocking and clearing tables. If you're on the bar or serving a function, shifts can be long and intense, even with multiple people working a single shift. If you're on bistro shift, your shifts are short (can be as low as 2 hours and 30 minutes) and you have a lot of autonomy if working alone, but things can still be intensive at times (e.g. during a function, serving large groups). 

Management is hands-off. They try to let senior employees teach junior employees, but this can lead to inconsistent teaching. Be sure to be open about how you do things if you work here, due to potential conflicts in how things should be done (even though there are memos to the staff taped to the tables). 

This sort of job would be ideal for extroverts who have their RSA and don't mind conflict resolution/de-escalation.

Typical day includes:
- 	Operating the till to take customers’ orders 
-	Pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
-	Deliver meals and clearing/cleaning tables
- 	Communicating with and assisting my co-workers

The hardest part of the job is communicating with all staff members to make sure the shift is running smoothly

The most enjoyable part of the job is talking to new and interesting people and making friends with the regular patrons.

One of the best jobs ive had. You have fun while getting paid but also being a hard worker. Everyone i worked with were really nice, always kept drama outside of work 

the hotel people the bosses are nice to work with.. but they dont have enough staff thats why sometimes we got stress in work but pver all rating working in albion salary time of work.. is perfectly fit in my kind of lifestyle

If you need hours you would possibly get them need to be a strong person to work there as some of the patrons can be difficult overall I loved working there staff are very close and look out for each other 

A very fast paced yet fun place to work with friendly co-workers and supportive managament team. As the venue has night club nights on the weekends, you learn to work under extreme pressure and multi-task while having fun.

Great place to work. A great mix of staff from all over the world. Good pay for a waitering job. Management were great and flexible with hours. Often held great venues. Some issues with dealing with difficult customers at the bar, but rare.

I enjoyed working at the albion. It was a relaxed atmosphere - with busy nights also. The staff were great and the customers also. I worked as both a waitress and kitchenhand

i learnt alot working for the albion hotel it was my first job where i used my RSA and the work enviroment was great i got to work alone ans as well as a part of a team

great work place and welcoming and professional work place to work to work in, would recommend for people to work there. all staff are treated fairly and with respect
