Aussie Bill Compare "wasn't just a telemarketing business" we did annoyed people calling them at home, but we as a company. When I was working there, we helped people save money on there electricity bills.... and  have to admit you will get people calling you all names, but never give up, cause my best & most sales came from those people who called me everything under the sun......I found working there customers did not care at all until u say Gud-Day on the phones......I loved talking to all my customers & loved that they freaked out when I gave my business contact details I'd say..."yeah can you please write down my name & contact number please just in case you might have more questions later its (Sopee Lay)..".. customers reckon I'm lying & can't believe they was just speaking a Australian born Asian girl the whole time.....Reckons they trying to tell me I'm Australian and not Asian..he-he.

For me it was easy working there because....I have dealt with customers face to face in previous jobs.....too me its easier to deal with horrible customers on the phone.....because you can put the phone & let them scream until they hang up :)......

One thing I miss is my team.....It wasn't really my bosses team....we  always made sure we looked after each other & always tried to get the positive out off each other... and loved motivating my team mates. but also didn't like it because I'll always lose the challenge & shout them my drinks....at the end of the week. but it made us close n felt a bit like family.... :) 

I Learned that nothing impossible.... if  you want it...

My typical day at work starts with Customer care client call backs, Inbound call managing, and pending issues/problem solving, data entry, call monitoring. We have fun music which is important to keep smiles on our face and still allows us to be professional and friendly. I learn something new every day when we deal with multiple retailer within our industry. My co-workers and I have a great team relationship and we all co ordinate rolls to keep it interesting. The hardest part of my job is the length of the day (10 - 7pm). What I love most about my job is being interactive with customers and our floor centre staff. The Enjoyment I get when we help customers is a successful and rewarding feeling.

So a typical day at work would be a fun day with activities happening whilst working listening to music. 
I learnt how to deal with objections from customers.
Management- All of the managers in this job were nice and helpful 
My fellow co workers were always a joy to work around or with.
The hardest part of the job would have been when you would get a sore throat from talking to customers for 7 hours a day.
The most enjoyable part would be the people I worked with.

I spent 11am till 8pm on the phones, trying to get costumers on better electricity and gas rates to save them money per quarter. I learnt how to speak and deal with rude customers, all my co-workers learnt the same as we got abuse on a regular basis, that was the hardest part of being in a call center, the most enjoyable part was when i landed my own sales specially for the first time.

This past month I have enjoyed working at Aussie Bill Compare, I have learned the art of sales and how to strive towards a goal. All people in the workplace are fun and committed. The hours are difficult for a student at university but the job culture is outstanding.

Cold calling customers was one of the hardest jobs I have done, the workplace environment was amazingly good though. Without the craziness of colleagues and music blaring everybody would've gone insane. I did enjoy the fact that each day was your own to make the most of. Being paid commission only made it a bit stressful.

Excellent Management and great team environment.I have manifested a great working experience and a strong strategy with communication, sales representative, products demonstration and meeting sales deadlines. The hardest part of the job were cold calling customers.

Pay rate is terrible and the floor manager lies to employees constantly! I definitely do not recommend this company unless you have exhausted all other employment options!

It was a good job and I was employed for a long time. The pay and the hours were great and the staff environment was friendly and functional. I enjoyed it a lot.

Fun work place with supportive management.
I have learnt and developed a strong management skills and work well in a team environment.
