Atom Supply was my first job and I was there for 21 years. Time flies by quickly when you are having fun at work.

Once the company was in the process of taken over, new CEO/management were looking for people that did minimum requirements. New people did less work and received more pay than those that  were hard and reliable long term workers.

When the new company took over and saw that I was getting too much pay on paper based on my position, there was friction between us. By them not knowing that I worked long hours at work and at home via internet connection,they ended up needing 3 people on normal salary which equates to twice as much as my salary.

DO NOT WORK HERE
This was by far not my first rodeo but it is by far the worst place I've ever worked!
Underpaid and expected to do the work of 5 people while others stand around 

Management is in complete shambles
Poor toxic work culture in my experience there were a few great colleagues but it's still toxic because u witness great hard working people also underpaid and underappreciated

Doesn't give u motivation or pride because HR/management does not give care about you or your future and the environment is straight up depressing

No progression or future benefits 

In hot summer days I worked in sea containers above 40 degree heat the wage barely pays rent in the worst of areas let alone a nice meal after a hard day's yakka 
Don't work here you'll only shoot yourself in the foot! 

I worked for Atom Supply for 21 years. The years flew by because I liked what I did at company. It transformed from 8 employees to over 70 employees.
However, due to takeover of company, new management had their own agenda. They tried to reform the company and old staff to their culture.ie the CEO statement  "I expect you to work above minimum requirements". To me that is not me as my culture is to work towards the maximum thresh hold. So they tried to reform me. Anyhow, I left company and later found out that they needed 3 people to do my work and therefore cost them twice as much salary to do the same work.

ATOM Supply is a National Company supplying a range of Industrial and Safety Products to Mining. Oil & Gas and all Major Construction Companies.
Fast paced work environment over 6,000 clients.
Major tender work and weekly meetings both Internal and External.
Team culture, working closely with Operation Warehouse team.
Main challenge was keeping up a vast range of stock for client demand.
Most enjoyable was engaging with new clients and then retaining and growing with their business over the years. Relationship building and growth both ways.

High level of quotes arrive by email requiring fast response.
Sales are generated by sales rep activity.
Flat level of management with Br Managers reporting to an Area Manager who in turn reports the Chairman of the Board. 
Workers are all keen and dedicated and put in extra effort to ensure the job is done.
The downturn in the mining and gas industry is causing sales to become very competitive and service levels more critical.
New products are introduced to the market on a regular basis creating activity and an avenue for sales growth.

Atom supply is a normal work place with great staff 
Managment needs to inprove relationships with staff and show a little more caring  and not so much its all about them and staff dont matter 
in the time i have worked there it has been good but very demanding which is the norm with all jobs but the lack of care about their staff leaves alot to be desired

majority of enquiries come via email which are generated in first instance by sales reps.
Majority of suppliers are exceptionally good and provide training and sales support.
lean staff numbers mean that everyone is busy and have to put in 100%.

Atom is a busy, active place to work, always on the hop, the people are friendly and always willing to help with what ever needs help, I enjoyed working their, they have great benefits for their staff and try to keep the family type atmosphere alive

Fun workplace with somewhat supportive management. 
All about the numbers, Decent amount of red tape and office politics, But this is expected of a big company.
I work with a fantastic team and we all support each other in and out of work.

I really enjoyed my time at Atom, the only reason I left was due to the distance when I moved. Although at times the work was full on, I like a challenge so it suited me. I really enjoyed the team I worked with as well.
