I spend a significant amount of time on the floor with the workers where the day to day work task and environment change frequently and even thou the workers are quite capable in completing their work task they do tend to not see the hazards that appear around them and that where I come in play and help them refocus before an incident arises.
I on purposely make myself approachable with the workers so they feel comfortable in opening up with me on any safety or rehabilitation topic which gives me that slight opportunity to act quickly before it can get out of hand.

As for my role in safety I have a no blame policy but lets learn from the situation and move forward without forgetting so the situation will not reoccur.

Got along with the team well. 2 particular members of the manufacturing team who have extensive knowledge of the business were helpful but i quickly found out that they didn't like change. Management kind of worked around them and kind of threw curve balls at me being new and quiet and happy go lucky with the can do attitude.
it was every department for themselves, didn't Gel together as a company, it was very much, white collar, design and manufacturing got all the blame for anything that went wrong.

I thoroughly enjoyed working at ATCO would still be there if I didn’t make a mistake through frustration at myself

Worked in hseq. Massive joke. Was set up very poorly, too many roles made available, nothing to do.  Had a six month contract, looked for work after 2. Had a job lined up and basically stopped working so they'd fire me. Still took them 3 months.  
Management are ex sales people.  There's the problem

Very enjoyable company to work for. There managers are very easy going and approachable. 
If you had an issue or wanted to move around within the company regarding job roles, they would always try to accommodate you and resolve any issues.

I worked at Atco Structures and Logistics for quite a few years. I found the company to be full of friendly and helpful staff and team morale was high. The work was straightforward and the procedures in place were set up to achieve an efficient workflow.

off siding for other builders building portable buildings. cleaning duties and maintenance. I got along really well with all of my co workers. the hardest part of the job would have been the continuous heavy lifting when laying roof sheets.

There was limited time put into training and helping me understand what exactly the role required. As someone that had no experience in this industry, the expectations were unreasonable and made it hard to grow in the role.

They had great work ethics and safety minded not safety practical.
management had no idea how to do his job 2ic did his job for him, communication was none existant  between management personal.

Progressive and respetful company of the talents of their employees

Management get involved in a positive way to ensure the safety culture of the company is respected by employees.
