During my time with APG was different to what I did in the past. The job involved working with people with disabilities which led to a supervisory role. My job as team leader was to make sure that the vehicle was checked and all gear was in good condition including all safety equipment and first aid etc. That the workers had all PPE and aware of their duties including WH&S. I was apart of the grounds maintenance gardening crew so what I learnt and achieved while working with people with disabilities was respect and patience. Management was always there to listen and very supportive and often they would encourage us to keep up the good work and responded to any problem. The hardest part of the job was in relation to the Head Supervisors and their conduct and treatment to the workers, in which I felt they lacked interpersonal skills and compassion especially to the team leaders. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing that we did our best and that the residents were very happy and grateful for our services. Finally I think I won the respect of my team but more importantly they taught me trust, kindness and patience.

I must admit that the onboarding process was fast and easy. Expect to work a day or two after they contact you.

They appointed me to a workplace which use two agencies to supply them casuals with - APG and another I am probably not allowed to mention. I discovered I was being paid 5% less than the other casuals who were employed by the other agency. All casuals performed the same duties in the factory. You can imagine how demoralising that would be and I got out as soon as I could.

Another issue is their payroll officer. Wages and payslips are not transparent. It is your job to find out what days you work and for how long and verify with the payslip they send you. On two seperate occasions I had to chase them up about errors in my pay and I only worked with them for a month and a half.

They are friendly and helpful but are dodgy and incompetent at the same time. I would only recommend this agency if you are desperate and need work ASAP. 

Great start to get into the recruitment industry, management can be flexible with negotiation involved, start rate is fine, paid for weekly lunches, career advancements always available.

Environment is repetitive, always have to have multiple meetings to negotiate change working conditions, don't take what you say seriously until everyone resigns than decides to do something about it.

I'm not sure which is worse.? 
Action Workforce, Labourforce, or AP Global, all in Western Sydney.
They're all a rude bunch of false promises that cannot stand by their lies and deception. 
This entire Casual workforce rubbish is a total scam.
The casual staff get harassed endlessly in various companies.
These 3 agencies don't give a hoot about their casual staff and /or harassment issues directed at casual staff members.
I've witnessed numerous casuals being bullied regularly.
This rubbish needs to stop because I'm prepared to start punching on with these bullies that relentlessly bully others.

This company did not pay me for weeks, put multiple people into a toxic and bullying environment and did not investigate at all when the turnover rate was extremely high. 
They are more concerned about their Making money than the wellbeing of staff.

The positions advertised are also not correct, the hours seem grey but on your very first day you will learn they were lies and you're expected to work an additional 3-4 hours per day than quoted in add. There was no chance of advancement and no training as advertised. Completely deceiving and they have been called out on this and continue to advertise the same. 

I HIGHLY suggest avoiding this company at all costs.

Don't think for one second that yourself 1 of over 1000 people working there that u are a valued employee. you are disposable to them and if you take one sick day off with a written doctors certificate that is apparently required to be supplied from a casual employee they'll fire you in an instant and bring in another batch or poor souls in a week later. Some managers are nice and some are just so rude and will single out particular people and make them do extra while others keep there heads down just to walk out on time.

A typical day at work would involve tending to clients and calls and assisting them in seeking employment in a field which suits them best. I've learnt to meet specific needs and requirements needed in order to be a successful applicant for a particular job. 
My co-workers are brilliant workers and always willing to help assist as best as possible in order to satisfy our clients. 
Hardest part of the job is finding suitable applicants for a job and ensuring they have the correct and proper qualifications.
The most enjoyable part of the job is working alongside my co-workers and learning from them.

hard to get in touch with, they dont listen to what you have to say. I've apparently gotten multiple written warnings that I knew nothing about I also haven't seen any of them. I was working in such a toxic environment, the staff/mostly the supervisor of a company I was working for through apg was so rude, arrogant, also bullied casuals and never listened to complaints unless they were from higher people in the factory. Myself and a few coworkers experienced bullying. Worst agency I've signed up for.

Work with a great team! Managers are great and always open to discuss anything and never make you feel like your thoughts or ideas are not important. I have learnt so much and interacting with colleagues who work on the other side of the country is great and you learn so much by doing so.  

Its recruitment which always comes with challenges but there is always a line of colleagues who are willing to give you advice and help you through whatever challenge you may be facing.
