Physical work is a great opportunity to make money while improving your health.
I started this work after being blindsided by an experience that gave me hypervigilance. 
After being in the office for years and then finding myself unemployable due to poor health and an inability to emotionally regulate like a healthy person, I really welcomed the opportunity. 
I worked for these guys for almost two years then transitioned into a higher paying traineeship in the mining industry. 
The healthy management and ex farming families that have tremendous input into the way this business run are a credit not only to the business but the community at large.
They provide these opportunities indiscriminately to their fellow man. 
I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated the opportunity to turn my life around and the sportsmanlike encouragement I received daily to learn how to adapt to my changed circumstances.

My time with Australian Container Unloading Group (ACUG) was a terrific time as I got to learn new things everyday and adapt to different work procedures at different sites. You also meet a lot of interesting people and make a lot of good friends along the way. The work is constant and ongoing. Working from 5:00am till whatever time you finish for the day. The money is good, considering you get paid per container but if you don't mind the long hours and working in different weather conditions? It's all worth it once pay day comes... LoL

If your looking for work? I suggest giving Australian Container Unloading Group (ACUG) a go! It's well worth your time and you also learn new skills everyday. Plus you can get a certificate in Warehousing while working for Australian Container Unloading Group.

The work is fine if you are used to physical work however the pay is inadequate to the amount of work you do or are expected to do. There are days where you can make over $200 but then there are days where you can make as little as $60, with this leads to not knowing how many hours you will be working or how much you will be earning, meaning its hard to balance with life. The company expects a high turn over of staff so their treatments is highly reflective of that and is very easy to see.

Overall if you know the pay fluctuates and so does the work going in then it is a job thats isn't the worst to use while you find a better one, its easy to obtain and easier keep if you show you can work but be warey

I worked a day for them. 5am start. 12 hours! towards the end I pulled a muscle in my left arm. Thankfully the other worker spotted this and told me to stop. I went to the local GP the next day after booking an appointment. I was told on the phone by the GP that the employer LYNDON told them I hurt the arm outside of work. LIAR!

So I called him up and asked why that was happening and he LIED to my face claiming I said I did it out of work.Then chuckled when I said fair work. Good thing for call recorders. Plus witnesses, plus a GP who probably will answer honestly.

I'm sore, tired and really annoyed!!!

Certainly not for everybody, and in Adelaide at this stage not as consistent as would be preferable, however if you enjoy hard work and being paid commensurate t your effort and ability then give it a try. And do the right thing by this company and they will always welcome you back. I was with them full time for a year or so, then had another opportunity arise which I took with their blessing. As it turned out a few months later my hours changed and they immediately gave me work when I was available. I am deeply indebted 

My time with Australian Container Unloading Group (ACUG) was a good experience as I got the chance to meet a lot of interesting people and make quiet a few friends. Work was constant and kept me on my feet throughout the entire day of working. I enjoyed what I was doing and would be a memory remembered for a lifetime. Money was good, considering you get paid per container but the more containers you got done? The more money you made. 

I would consider giving Australian Container Unloading Group (ACUG) a go if your like me and just get straight down to business! If I can do it... So can you!

Great place to work if you're young and want to stay fit, would NOT reccoment if you are old or lazy. The Work is on piece rate making it so that if you complete the job faster you can get paid a much higher then average hourly rate. Theyve also started topping us up to $29ph if the containers take to long meaning you arent brought down by the slowness of others anymore, and they pay us hourly for whatever container delays happen on top of that. started this job at 110kg and slimmed down to 80 in about 2-3 months, and I'm usually home by lunchtime also so I have plenty of personall time while still making a decent pay

I was told that I'd be working close to home and that the job sites where nearby public transport as I don't drive. I was also told that I'd be working 3-4 shifts per week. These were all lies. I needed to travel farther than expected for the two shifts I was given and then I was never given another shift (even after working back and being told I'd done a good job). I was contacted again recently and they apologised for forgetting about me, only to ask if I could work again the next day at another distant site. Absolute time-wasting clowns that hire more employees than they have work for.

Great place to work made easy by the relaxed attitude of managment which flows to the workers. Coworkers are a fun to work with making the days faster and very enjoyable. A place where you actually want to go to work everyday. Management are flexible and understanding and genuinely care for their workers. 

This is not a job for people that have poor work ethics or for people that want to do as little as possible and be paid for it. 
This is a fast paced, enerjetic environment where you can earn well above the award rate if your good at unloading containers. 
Great crew mates and safe, professional work environments with flexible working hours and good pay rates.
