ABC Childcare

I was working at ABC Childcare for 2 weeks as my work experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

What I learnt is team work and communication with staff and parents. Time management and organisation.  

The hard part is the parent when the children doesn't feel comfortable is it hard for us to understand their need and wants are.

 In the morning the staff would have a meeting and organising what needs to be completed throughout the day and what children can and can't eat so they won't have any allergies.  

The most enjoyable moment is when children makes you happy and the enjoyment of it is priceless.

The most enjoyable part at the was manage children, organising toys with them, going on the rides, little shows, having fun playing with the children and making them go to bed it was the most beautiful thing.

I learned so much at the ABC child care centre, I have learned a lot about being Punctual it is of the best things I have learnt, being able to respect time and think about the parents who have to drop off their children so that they can go to work. I gained confidence talking to people, customers as well as other employees at work and be friendly and to have good communication skills.

The days were fairly structured and there were 3 different shifts. I learnt to be patient and confident and how to communicate with co workers children and parents.
 Co workers were mostly welcoming and helpful when I first started.
There really wasn't a hard part to the job it was all fairly straight forward and the most enjoyable part of the job was walking in to the centre and being welcomed by all the smiling happy faces.

I loved working with all the children at childcare I learnt how to deal with some childrens different behaviours and problems it was a good time to reflec on other co workers aswell to see how they cope with the same ordeal.the management and staff were all fantastic the hardest part of the job was when parents drop off there children to childcare and sometimes the little ones cry for there parents and it broke my heart a little to see them cry and upset.

A typical day at work involved caring for the children, creating activities and play areas and cleaning
i learnt the importance of play for children, the importance of making sure all surfaces remained sterilized and to work in a team 
All the co-workers were extremely friendly 
The hardest part of the job was caring for a sick child 
Experiencing the joy of teaching the future genoration and getting them ready for the world

a typical day was always exciting to see the kids with smiles on their faces everyday. management was awesome and the co-workers were lovely and easy to work with. the hardest part of the job was seeing a child leave the childcare centre for good after building a bond with them over such a long time. the most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the kids everyday.

I had lots of fun and had learned a lot. my centre director was very approchable and i had very helpful and professional colleagues.My workplace was like an extended family and i enjoyed every moment of it.I became very attached to the children and would look forward to meet them everyday.

i personnally left due to alot of workplace staff bullying including issues with director i wasnt paid properly for 6 months and my home life was not taken into consideration when timetables were made

Poor management led to it being a hectic workplace. A lot of dishonesty towards parents with which I did not agree. The staff were great to work with bit the director/s at the time of my employment were lazy and overlooked a lot of things

The staff and parents are very freindly making it a companie that's enjoyable to work for. Each childrens play areas are bright and colorful with loads of educational toys and textiles to encourage thier learning.
