I worked for them for over 2 years. 6 days a week, 43 hours. I worked hard and was a loyal employee. I had a regular clinic, my own loyal patient base, and a good relationship with everyone at the clinic. Until I had a run in with a dr, who requested something very unreasonable and outside my scope of practice. I was moved on from that clinic, with no explanation (though I know it’s because of that one incident). I was not supported at all. I was not offered any help. Just moved from clinic to clinic, never knowing where I was going to be until the afternoon before. I was not offered the same hours, a regular clinic, nothing…as is the nature of being a casual. I had to stay casual because I legitimately could not afford to go permanent because the pay was so low. I had no life while I worked here. My nephews bare know who I am, because I was always working. I’m happy to say I now have a much better paying permanent job, and will finally have a work/life balance!!!

Working with 4cyte is a great start for new collectors to gain experience. But they are super unprofessional I’d get calls at like 3am asking me to fill in the shift for the same morning. If you get chance to be promoted your manager will do everything in power to get it revoked. My manager called and said in unreliable and don’t ever show up on time, and continued to roster me and ask me to fill in for workers who’d never show up or the company veterans that would come a sit on their backside while you’d be expected to do everything. My manager lied to my new promoted boss until my promotion was revoked. Using an exception to completely demolish any chance of career growth for me. So I quit. The better side of it is the pay, and if you’re lucky you’ll get one best friend whose completely reliable. 

I was employed to work 2 days per week at my local collection centre,and within one week I was working in 3 different centres all around sydney,everywhere except where  I was employed to work,and pushed to the limit working 6 days per week instead of the two days I was supposed to work and found myself driving around for hours all over sydney and wasn't paid for tolls,then I was terminated after 5 months ,of trying to keep up with the work demands. Its a terrible company and they don't treat employees very well at all.They didnt give me a uniform or name badge,or a pathology vehicle .

Ridiculous hours, no penalty rates are paid. No communication, No support.  
Lack of training.  Ridiculous deadlines that can't be met unless speeding constantly.  
No consideration to the weather, bugs, traffic,  parking, how busy the clinic is to be able to meet the Ridiculous time frames given.
Favouritism is definitely a big part in the company. The Nepotism there is  crazy.
Although I was able to complete runs 2 hours faster than the other driver I still had absolutely zero input to what was going on and everything was being set up to the way the female drive wanted things.

so bias  company,never give chance.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
company not stick to their roster, 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
very unsupportive, bias supervisors, they had favours staff picking on color people, races


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
friday and weekend,but mostly some late start days

Management was very bias and had favourites. They trained the staff that they favoured while the others had to beg the supervisers to be trained on certain things so progress was not fair. Other than that it was fine. I worked during Covid season so it was really crazy. I might’ve had a better experience if it was under different circumstances. 

Management are sometimes hard to get a hold of 
Work is not scarce because the testing centre hours are minimal 
Stores orders are often late 
Head office is hard to reach as the line is always busy. 



I enjoyed my job until management showed that my loyalty and extended work hours counted for nothing when it came to promotion.
This company is run on the old friends network.

Great management with a marvellous team. But there are some rotten potatoes that makes the whole bag sting. Only if all the employees worked hand-in-hand, life would be so easy. Very experienced bunch of employees but some are too selfish to get organised. 

I have seen so many people succeed and promoted. They do their job right and know what they're doing and the opportunities for promotion are there. Everyone works well together to get patients looked after. It is all about the patients.
