My direct team and leader were amazing, didn't have much to do with the management above the leaders but that's something that didn't bother me. They weren't unapproachable - just easier to go to your leader first to sort out anything you needed from the managers. Everyone in the contact center was lovely, there wasn't anyone there that I interacted with that wasnt great to work with. Some interdepartmental issues where others would seem to think a bit less of contact staff, as if we didn't know what things worked. Customers that would call ready to fight you too, was about the worst of it. 
WFH 80/20, most of it was 1 day a month in person. Sometimes KPI's were hard to achieve but they are the same all the time and not changing constantly. 
Very LGBTQIA+ inclusive, neurodivergent friendly and accommodating.  

Awesome company and people. Teams are engaged in any decision making. Management take care of employees although there have been restructuring in recent months which is common in covid era and stressful for those who got impacted. Lot of things moved to AWS ☁️ so good learning.

Some People on other levels of the building treated the contact staff like they were third class passengers on the titanic. Great career advancement if you knew the right people, but if you weren’t you are better off leaving. There is no work/life balance when you are in the contact centre and they make it really hard to leave like giving 4 weeks notice.

Day to day younare expected to take between 40-60 calls a day with only a few seconds between calls. You don't have time to decompress after hard or difficult calls. 
You are subject to alot of verbal abuse from members and are expected to take it. 
Structure within the company is changing and it seems to be front line staff who are affected most.

your team mates are the best part of nib. Career progression only happens if you are an outstanding achiever. 
can be very stressful to achieve targets in an unfair environment. team leaders are all very close so it’s always a win for them and lose for you. 
pay is good but the stress isn’t worth it
not a great job for someone whose sensitive and not very direct and assertive

The most enjoyable part of my job is selecting the right candidate for the right position and having happy employees.  nib has a great culture and offer great benefits for employees.  I have worked for nib for over 18 years and believe the company has a great balance of business and helping the community.

Managers really took time to care about their staff. The job wasn't a personal fit for me in the end, however, I very much appreciated the culture that nib has worked hard to create for its employees.

Overall, it's a great business to work in as they hire good people that are a pleasure to work with. The company also has and supports training options in addition to information days to better help educate and inform team members.

Great place to work, family friendly, management that listen, career advancement, a company that is diversifying and moving in the right direction. 
I would recommend nib as an employer without any hesitation.

Had the best time at Honeysuckle Head office. Great work life balance. As I was a casual I cannot talk about salary benefits as I was only there for a short time.
