You're often left in an area of high volume under extreme pressure and under time limits and KPI's, labour intensive, in all kinds of weather.

Management don't care or cater to needs outside of work and overtime is expected if not forced upon you after hours as well as on your days off, if you don't fill in overtime shifts, you're allocated the worst jobs on site while the employees who lounge around most of the day performing minimal amounts of work continue to be rewarded with moves up the internal pay-level structure.

This job is good if you need a temporary stepping stone into the job market as the pay is ok on casual rates and on full time hours during the harvest season, I wouldn't advise and I would never go back to signing a full time contract with this company, the work life balance is terrible, employee needs are neglected and management do not care about your well-being or your personal life.

Earn your money and get out as quickly as you can.

Work Is hard but if your struggling and let supervisors know they will put you on a job that is better for you!

Pay is great, if your a hard worker and can do alot you have opportunities to increase pay levels. And alot of overtime opportunities.

People are friendly and help each other out and alot of management are friendly and approachable. I've made friends with alot of backpackers and experienced different cultures and their food through those friendships.

I've left fletchers and gone back a few times as I've found it has one of the best work atmospheres you could ask for! You can buy headphones off them and listen to music or podcasts or audio books while you work and the time flys. It's repetitive work but you can always ask to learn new jobs. 

And it smells worse on the outside then the inside! The inside smell is like when your in a butcher's shop!

This was a good place to work, with great workers. Management however were only it for themselves and had no problem abusing the system. Work culture was more about Staff v's Workers, and it was not tolerated if you mixed with either. However they did look after their employees to a point,as in they would promote within, until work started to diminish, then it was about maintaining the staffs roles rather than the workers.

In Fletcher I learned most of the new work like how to lead staff, how to train. Also, I managed staff in right place. Different culture background staff was around there, I enjoy to work with them. My hardest part, it was new job for me so first time everything is new and hard to do. after couple of week I am very familiar and work properly. I enjoyed over there in part of different people in different country and worked more then 120 staff.

Family oriented workspace and well established foundation for long term stability 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
At the time I couldn't organise to perform my task orderly with amounts of overwhelming support carried with certain tasks from the job requirements

The job of packer that will make you feel the time is very fast when you are working. But you will meet many people from different countries as Taiwan, Frence, Italiy, South Keran, Japan, New Zeland...etc. They will share their tradtional food to each other. The hardes part of the job is you need to stay in lower temperture work area few hours to packer the meats or have to life up the boxes when the machine shut down.

Fletchers is a great job especially in the cold boning room, on job training for all staff, great employer feed back. Fulltime, casual & part time work always available. Top job for anyone. I only left due to mother hood.

Was a very repetitive work place, I learned lots of different meat organizing and processing skills, my co- workers were very friendly and helpful, the hardest part of the job was the early mornings and long hours but I made it work though.
The most enjoyable part of the job would be the good work ethic and great people.

Nice place to work and a very friendly people specially the Maintenance team.If there is a trouble  everyone is helping each other. Laziness is not existing in this area.
