Simply put...
*You are required to sign an outdated Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) that really only benefits the company in making profit, before even eligible to work with Workforce Road Services, and most recent EBA was rejected by Fair Work Commission, due to multiple formal disputes.

*You are paid on Casual basis, yet, you are criticised by Management for not wanting to work Full-Time, and in many cases, you won’t receive any work from allocator, if you dare to dispute the matter or don’t accept job texts sent at random hours.

* You can potentially earn good money working in Traffic Control, but, you need to work for more than 60 hours a week as Casual to earn a living and/or have enough saved, if work becomes inconsistent or you become sick and cannot work, as you get no benefits that Full-Time (rare) employees are accustomed to getting.

A typical work day isn't very typical I love the fact that we get a new workplace everyday and you are rarely disappointed by the views or the people that we deal with day to day. I've learned so much from this work place that you almost cant write it down, more so meeting new and fantastic people. 

My co-workers are my boss's and my friends, I've never enjoyed such a great group of people so far and hope to meet many more though my workplace endeavours. 

The hardest part of my job would defiantly have to be the hours of standing up sometimes for 12 hours at a time but its very much worth it at the end of the day. 

Like I said earlier the greatest part of my job would have to be the people/colleagues. They have been so nice and accepting to me especially in a very much so male environment. But I have learned to adapt and learned some very important socializing skills for everyday life and work life.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good management  always take onboard workers concerns and the pay was excellent..the kind of company that looks after their workers like family 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didn't find anything stressful the whole time I was with work force it was a great company who looked after their workers and very professional in all areas of civil construction 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great family like atmosphere if you had any problems managment will do their best to solve things for you and always make sure their workers are being looked after and treated well by the company in charge of the site your working on 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Great professional inviroment always something to learn and help progress of your own skill building

I am experienced and skilled in many areas working within different industries.  I am gaining the knowledge and skills to ensure I am able to be a highly dedicated, communicate well, friendly and approachable employee who is able to work independently and within a team environment. This enables me to support, encourage and motivate other staff members, while learning new skills from them at the same time. I am reliable and have a can do attitude, while always paying attention to detail to any task given to me and seeing it through to the end with great results and can work off plans if needed.

A typical workday includes loading and unloading of raw materials and/or finished products. Quality checking of products, packing product into boxes and stacking onto pallets.  Maintaining the cleanliness of machinery and the general working area.  Operating machinery.  Follow WHS, environmental and material handling procedures and controls.
We learn GMP-Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP-Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points, to ensure food safety and quality.
We have an excellent management and my co-workers are very cooperative and helpful.
The hardest part of the job is negligible and the most enjoyable part is the harmonious relationship between the staff and fellow workers.

I work at many places for workforce at different times of the day. I find having a professional relationship with everybody and just go in do your work to a high standard. Don't try and do things differently you can not go wrong. That is what it is like working for labour hire. I have done many things and courses so i have a wide diversity of skills. I'm now just looking for a permanant job thats pays well. I can develop and have training and really show my real abilities. I feel that i can achieve alot more. I'm capable of learning and becoming a expert at what ever i do. My time is now.

Terrible place to work, from the lack of management and supervison to the absolute terrible work ethics. If you challenge certain senior managers you're employment is as good as terminated. Everything is micromanaged from the top. No HR also means onboarding and exiting is a joke, which means when you have a problem with your manager, you have no one to help you through it. They will sooner get rid of you rather than address the issue which just means someone else needs to go through the drama you have just been through. Staff turnover is ridculous.


Branches are under-resourced - normally a 1 person show; payroll under-resourced / unavailable for candidate issues; no marketing / sales material;  no marketing department; no HR Department; no inter-office collaboration / sharing of clients / leads / national deals; no safety team; no pay-rises EVER, no direction, no incentive, no support; a dollar driven, high personnel turnover business that does not care about it's own people. Very sloppy and reactive management;  A real winning organisation.



I work at various metropolitan and regional locations, As it is outdoors and we are always on the move I do enjoy my days,
I find management are approachable.
My co - workers are generally team players and of varied backgrounds. Open & friendly,
The hardest part of the job is working away from home for periods of 2 - 6 weeks. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is being outdoors and on the move.

Worked for them at different sites in Ingleburn. Induction was good but inconsistent with work and apathetic when you had a family emergency etc

Need to make their clients aware of casual workers and how casual employment affects them instead of site management harassing the casual over factors outside their control 

Need better communication between Workforce and their clients so there is no misunderstandings.
