What is the best part of working at the company?
Busy work environment with plenty of learning and in the job training. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
While working in a different role in the same department the workload was overwhelming to the point of being highly stressful due to lack of staff. No support from upper management. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The department I worked in became increasingly toxic. Gossip, bitchiness and bullying became a daily issue particularly from staff who seemed to get away with everything and weren’t properly managed by the managers. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Towards the end when I left it was overwhelming, disappointing and stressful. Prior to that you were rostered to do a different task each day which helped not to get bored or stuck doing the same thing over and over.

Working at Werribee Mercy was some of the best years of my working life great people to work with, great facilities in a nice new updated hospital. I mainly worked in the psych unit or in the Emergency Department where I had my 4 psych beds, if I was in the psych unit then I usually preferred to be in the HDU High Dependency Unit and Seclusion area and I feel that I would get more benefit working with those patients who were more at there 'lowest point' and need more of one on one therapy/counsellor or simply just someone to vent and listen whereas on the mainstream unit the time is more limited to the one one one support given when in crisis or need!

there isn't fun at the place, they work you like a dog



What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
always rushing and you can't work to your best
no help, you can't even take a day off and if you do they get upset and say were struggling with staff as they dont have any,
can't take holidays when you want to,  you have to book at least 4 years advance

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
 no respect for there staff

they complain got no staff, as there very picky with who they want



What is a typical day like for you at the company?
its always rushing, no help and if your running behind they they dont care

Busy work environment.  Good working team.  Not so supportive.  Multiple changes to nurse unit manager position.
Learnt good skills in managing personality disorders in crisis.
Work environment not safe at times.
Good job satisfaction working with clients.   Good working relationships with peers.

Werribee  Mercy Hospital is a very good place to work. The most important strength is your staff and this include everyone in the hospital.  In this hospital I learned all the Australian standards about the right care for the patients in terms of anaesthetics care and how to communicate with them in a compassionated way with absolute respect for the values and the multicultural difference.

The teamwork of the midwives on the floor

The education manager was a bully

The midwives were a fantastic team

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy most days 
Lots of fun but could be stressful at times

Days are very busy and I learnt a lot about what my new career pathway was about. Everyone work as a team. Management are always bust but always find time to speak to staff and any issues that many arise through the day. If I didn't live so far way I wouldn't hesitate on working with the great team.

Recent progress in establishing New Paediatric Ward and formally was awarded provisional Accreditation
Western Suburbs growing in population in a good way has impacted the flow to ED department with 25-30%Paediatric presentations to ED 
Which enables to get hands on experience and growth.

This  is a local hospital with a community vibes and feel.The area I work with is like working in a team sport where every small contribution is needed for the team to function.
Yes I enjoy the camaraderie that I developed through the years.

During my time at Werribee I feel its a good place to work. Communication between all areas are good. 
Part of working in allied health supervisor is provided monthly so its been a very good way of profession development.
