A typical day wasnt bad at all. Work load wasnt hard. Easy going. Can be a bit slow at times, then have a rush. Which is normal. The main thing is the misleading information on tags and coupons that confuse customers. Its totally clickbait and kinda messed up but. Overall not a bad place to work, I would at a different location, co workers seem to mostly dread the majority of the customers and tasks, but understandable I guess considering they’ve been there for years and work almost every day. 

I say the business doesnt have good morals because most of the sales are on candy. And I cant figure out why they sell cigarettes and tobacco products… Its ultimately just a place to reel in money, which is most companies, so it’s not surprising. 

Jam packed with lots to do, not enough staffing hours to do it. Over worked, stressed out, unappreciated, very fast paced job. 
Learned a lot 
Management. Being overloaded and under appreciated but expected to do the work of 3 people.
Co-workers were more like family. Being able to help people.

Walgreen Company is a good employer that believes in working, laughing, boosting in the pleasure of selling products, believes in courtesy, kindness, generosity, cheer, friendship and honest competition.  It provides leadership program for young graduates.

Corporate ties your hands behind your back, expectations are ridiculous for what you can accomplish.

I learned a lot professionally but they are making harder to justify sticking it out with them by not having a clear direction

The job itself was not a bad workplace. I’d say the only downside was a little inconsistent communication, but otherwise I enjoyed my time. In the area we had a lot of stealing which also made us more careful at work.

It was a pretty high stress job that would cause me to have panic attacks. I loved my coworkers and a few of the customers will always be in my heart but the company itself has issues with overworking and understaffing.

It's a good job to have but not much room at all for advancement in career. Also customers can be very rude. Walgreens isn't the best option, gets very boring.

The management was really awesome until the last manager was transferred there that I worked under. The customers were so sweet and kind. Truly enjoyed them.

Strong company financially. Headed in the right direction with regards to employee engagement. very "corporate."

They give great hours depending upon the time of the year. And if you are understaffed the job can be very stressful. You will be expected to multi-task to the max
