Day to day I currently manage the advertising budget ~$25mil, I look after customer marketing campaigns from a finance perspective. i.I segmentation of customer cohorts to maximise return on investment. Marketing ROI.
I also manage our trade forecasting model.
Also complete Ad Hoc analysis.
The work place culture is vibrant, fun where everyone works hard and also enjoy themselves.
My manager is a fantastic mentor from whom I have learnt many skills which I will carry into new opportunities in the future.
The most enjoyable part of my role is partnering with non finance stakeholders to guide and recommend strategic decisions which benefit the business and allow them to meet their KPI's.

Level one technical support to customers with different level of skills and knowledge about computer and internet.

I have learned and gained the skill to communicate with different types of customer and handling taught customer over the phone. In this job I also learned how to build up good rapport with customers over the phone. 

Virgin is one of the world famous brand name in Telecom and Airline industry. We had a big bunch of very experienced management in the organization.

Hardest part of the job was to handle angry and frustrated customers. However I enjoyed the end part of it when I used to provide solution to their problems and thus calm them down.

Was a great learning curve in which I was able to gain a lot of new skills & knowledge in the sales industry at such a young age. However, During my short time at Virgin Mobile, we had Issues with management roles which lead to poor communication & organisation. I am very thankful for the experience & wouldn't be where I am today without it.
The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to help people solve their issues and put a smile on their faces before leaving our store.

Enjoyable working culture within store and across stores in the state. Learned a lot of technological troubleshooting and specifications regarding mobile phones. The management were informative and easily contactable. It involved selling mobile phones on contracts to returning and new customers, along with other services and accessories. The benefits were nice and commission was decent so it was rewarding when working hard towards sales targets.

Great culture within the company, staff are friendly but upper management can be unappreciative at times, with only limited exposure for personal growth. Very sales driven, commission is achievable and can be worth while if you are able to hit your targets.

Virgin Mobile was a great place to work, it provided me with generous amounts of opportunity dolloped with enough incentives, work/life balance and challenges to keep me interested for 7 years :)

Virgin Mobile had a fun culture and it was the people that made it all happen. It was very relaxed company to work for. Casual clothes so no uniform. Encouraged growth and  development. 
Everyone was focused on the best possible Customer experience

Great team and reward culture. Fun and relaxing for staff back when I worked there.
Senior management was very approachable. Even the CEO at the time attended and was very nice to frontline staff.

Everday is different, it's not the same and you deal with varies customers and learn you new things each day. 

Dealing with people is the easiest part of the day, it's deciding what to eat on your lunch break... That's the worst!

unfortunately the company was closed down due to optus's business development. virgin was a highly accredited workpace with all the right attitudes. wish it never closed
