The factory has a good feel everyone is friendly saying hello
working at VIP I learned how products were made from scratch how factories run and how everyone works together to reach their daily targets(production to warehouse to despatch)
In this fast paced workplace leading hands were calm and courteous and polite.
I learned how to work with people with many different backgrounds and cultures
The hardest part of the job was trying to create enough space for the new product without miss locating or "losing" other products as the machines do not slow down
best part of the job was that I was always busy and the days went quickly

What is the best part of working at the company?
I worked there for 2 1/2 years waiting for permanent position, when I inquired about it, things got a bit funny and then I had no shifts. I will never work there again they wasted 2 1/2 years of my time.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing stressful just too many trouble makers and so much politics 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Environment is quite toxic too many workers in groups and you do have to watch what you say 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Was watching machines and making sure they are running and strapping and wrapping of pallets. Topping up All necessary items for packing

Even though the management was poor, and a basic business student could point out the ever-amounting flaws, it was fun to work.  Workplace culture was appalling, no one was willing to lend a hand in times of need, as it was a 'not my job' sort of attitude.  They were able to work around times and your needs, so I guess that was a bonus.  If you're looking to go nowhere but have a job to tie you over, this is it, I liked it sometimes, but other times, the people just made it a poor experience overall.

My typical day at work starts with maintenance servicing of the machines, this includes checks for any obvious signs of malfunction. We typically need to make minor mechanical adjustments, restart, and resume normal production, constantly testing quality and monitoring machine performance.
Turning up to work here is a pleasure as the teams are arranged to get there maximum performance, I find all my co-workers a pleasure.

As a rapid growth business it's still trying to develop strategies and processes so as to remain the sector leader and customer preferred.

I worked the night shift and found it much suited me better then any other shift. Very friendly work environment. Time actually seemed to go faster on nights. It was a pick packing job of plastic bottles and other plastic items. Your attention to detail is a must, with having to check and each item before packing and stacking a pallet then signing off. A challenging job at times bit very enjoyable!

Working at V.I.P felt like being inside a prison. The pay was above average compared to other businesses in the area. The workplace had a toxic culture.

Safety is the key in this work environment.

Interview/induction management are awesome. People friendly.

company was in the dark ages still with equipment that was 20 years out of date, work place safety standards was a joke, the day i left the company my supervisor had his hand caught in machinery and lost two fingers, thus being the result of the compoany not complying with Aust Work safe standards

Having other staff help you out and bring you up to speed with what is required.
The staff there can are what drives this company - though it can be difficult for the staff to help you as they have to complete there job as well.
