Relaxed, friendly environment and staff. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It isn't stressful at all. I have been made welcome and are treated respectfully.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Amazing. It is like working with adults, unlike some previous positions where the culture is destructive to the workplace and productivity.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Being treated with a smile and enquiring about my wellbeing. Disgusting the best routine for the day and being filled in on any important changes or ideas. Working where most needed in the shop and taking on whatever is required to reach a common goal with other co-workers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
To be a part of an ever growing community while learning how to deliver excellent customer service, proper etiquette, and above all else having fun 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Merchandising and preventing products from being stolen

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great, with everyone's being friendly toward one another, helpful, and confident with a can do attitude.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Preparing the store, checking on stock, restocking, going around the shop for clean up, merchandising and answering enquiries from customers

Whilst Volunteering for said position I eagerly helped the store manager and staff to move furniture and store displays that  they would otherwise have difficulty in completing such tasks, I also helped clean up and clear out months worth of excess larger stock in the back of the shop that had otherwise hindered them from managing space and running the shop more efficiently.

I liked working at vinnies because it makes you feel good helping out the people that are less fortunate and obviously doing it for no price. I liked also pricing the tags for clothing at vinnies. overall this experience was good and i thank my school for letting us have this opportunity to work at a OP shop

Working at Vinnies was a great introduction to retail and cash handling, the work was enjoyable! I helped to set up the merchandise on the shelves, sort the clothes to be put on the hangers for sale, attended to customer enquiries, worked behind the cash register and did some tidying around the shop.

Working at Vinnies has helped me to gain a better understanding of retail, as well as gaining experience in the field. The community at Vinnies is welcoming and a joy to work with other volunteers.

Great support by hard working volunteers but no support from management that have no idea. You make your budget and then it goes up. Workplace culture is terrible.

My time with Vinnies, while short, was extremely important in putting my skills to practice from what  I had learned with my Business Certificate. The staff there are wonderful and so helpful and were always able to help when I needed.

Vinnies was my first retail job and its the best place too be too start your retail adventure majority of the staff are nice easy too work with you need too have a passion for the industry I loved it I highly recommend it too anyone 

This place was relaxed and organised. Everyone was a team-player, and the atmosphere is comfortable for the customers. Customer service was brilliant, and I was very glad to be part of the team.
