Enjoyed the variety i had with this job . I was doing something different most days .
1 day i would be picking up cooking oil the next operating a filter crusher and then i would be required to pick up dangerous good and do waste tracking certificates .
even required to go to certain mine sites and pick up waste products  
Loading and unloading trucks 
forklift operations 
While working for the company they paid for my first aide certificate and sent to away for a week for a Health and Safety course 
Also done a fire warden course the company believe in their employees advance they knowledge

Transpacific Industries went through several difficult years and in the process divested non core business streams and took things back to basics. The result was a more focussed business that is in the process of restoring its position in the market. The managers are generally not nicro managed and allowed to get on with running their businesses. Sometimes this approach is not as effective as it could be with all managers at varying experience levels and subsequently require varying levels of support.

I did love my job, I learnt so many aspects of machine operations in the time I was with Transpacific.
As in a big company there were many management changes, some for the good and some for the bad.
I loved my final position as office administrator at Rye, I would sell mulch to customers as well as organise the truck deliveries around the Mornington Peninsula, I would do the weekly banking for the 3 sites that we operated. All phone enquirers and face to face aspects of the mulch process and sales. Data entries including KPI's for the 3 sites.

Responsible for the development, implementation, facilitation and deliverance of diverse operational management systems, frameworks, policies strategies and continuous improvement
processes to successfully progress the operational risk and governance programme. Involved in directly influencing corporate and operational performance along with the provision of support
to key corporate projects whilst co-ordinating the development and promotion of a congruent safety culture within a diverse and multi-site operation

Being a RTA mining town, emphasises is very much safety first.
In my opinion this is a good thing as everyone takes responsibility for there actions.
Transpacific / Cleanaway was a great company to work for it is just unfortunate that we are being made redundant due to loss of contract.
Overall a great place and a great bunch of blokes to work with, will miss it greatly.

It is a progressive stable workplace with exceptional OHS Standards.my co-workers were pleasant and supportive.There was no real hard part of the job because I enjoyed keeping busy which made the day go faster.
Management was fair and very clear on their requirements and what needed to be done in our daily duties.

The hop was good but just at the time the money wasn’t as great they offered me more but I already agreed to move on to transpacific and they were paying really good so that’s the only reason I move on from this place, apart from that it was a good environment to work in.

I didn't learn too much at Transpac as the company was in constant restructure and the culture was affected by this. My boss was amazing, but the Exec team were a mess, and that had a flow on effect through the company.
