Most of the time would be for me to plan, plan and plan. There was a week of implementation after this extensive planing but it worked!
I learned the value of planning especially when it comes to existing production processes with tight cash flows. Errors in implementation could simply not happen.
Most co-workers were help full and friendly. Then there were the bossy not so friendly, sit on the sideline and shout type. This had unique challenges to handle. 
The hardest part of this job were the stress of making an error. I think it was that people where involved in the plant modification and we did not want injuries for one, but any technical error could have made the whole plant shut its doors.
The most enjoyable part of this job was the successful implementation of the plan and improvement in the production.

A typical morning for me consists of:-

- Arriving at work around 4:30-4:45am. 
- Liaising with my co workers and my supervisor.
- Delegation of extra work that's required to be completed.
- Making sure we have adequate staffing if not delegate extra work.
- Visual safety checks on a truck and equipment.
- Testing of equipment.
- Completing a run and assisting elsewhere when required.
- Managing my time and others time so we've complete all work as required.
- Post run safety checks
- Completion of paperwork and defective vehicle reports (for contractors)
- Leaving work at varying times (sometimes long hours).

Project Painting is where I currently work when they have a shutdown to do and work for me. I like my Boss alot Sammy he is a very fair man and will train you on anything you may or could require in th future.
They suppy us with all PPE even if you already have your own, they make shore that the camps we live in are always very good, food ,cleaning ect.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing a very poor ran company with lots of corruption 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not getting any help from above 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not nice at all I spent 23 years there as a supervisor 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not nice constantly pressure on a daily basis

2am starts alot of traffic tight turns low hanging wires and awnings to contend with,there is always something different that could arrise over the period of a day a week or even monthly due to cutomers workers or just the unknown happening inbetween leaving one site and turning up to another site or even going back.

Good group of guys to work with. The company has no team building activities and or Christmas get togethers. Would be a much better company to work for if they had more to do with the workers.

Was a very good company that i had that pleasure to work for . Early am starts due to the liquid waste thae we pick up. Overtime was always on hand working with a great team of guys

I enjoyed working at this job immensely.  They were very understanding when situations arose that required me to leave this position. The other persons I worked with were great as well.

Hydro blasting,vacuum truck,concreting,great people to work with a lot of respect,refinery side shut down,hardest part of the job was carrying 48kg of hose on my own

I learned saftey and big responsibility very quick in this enviroment.You put the hours in but you get job satisfaction the hours are big but rewarding
