A typical day at Toyota bodyshop would be checking off on equipment including forklifts, stock chasers etc.... It would then be a schedule that needs to be fulfilled of replenishing stock to the various lines. It is important that accuracy is upmost vital when replenishing the various different materials. All part numbers need to be placed in the corresponding tubs so that no faults are recorded that can hold up the process line.
I have learned while working at Toyota that time management is the upmost importance and goes hand in hand with accuracy and concentrating at all times on the job you are doing.
Management and managing your schedule does really help achieve the highest possible results in completing your day to day work load.
Being able to associate with co workers and work as a team achieves the highest results on a production line and all departments working together produces a product on time with no faults.
The hardest part of the job I did at Toyota body shop logistics department was sometimes we had to take on other peoples duties and in turn put pressure on myself to achieve the daily targets. 
the most enjoyable part has to be doing the job well and be recognize by company management for achieving the targets which in turn benefit the company as a whole.

A typical day at work would be to unpack all arriving stock into the correct bin locations cut up boxes relocating of stock merchandise and doing deliveries all across the hunter region 

I learnt a lot to do with stock handling and stock take, I also learnt a lot with cleaning and relocating stock 

The management was alright at times it got very difficult as you would be told one thing but then told a completely different thing.

The co workers were okay, at times very hard to deal with as I was the only female in the parts department at the time.

The hardest part of the job would had to have been looking up certain parts for customers as the computer set up was very complex but with a bit of help I was able to find the parts the customers were after and it then became easier.

The most enjoyable part of the job would had to have been counting the stock and packing the stock into the correct bin locations and also having to do deliveries as I did enjoy the little drives I got to go on.
I also enjoyed cleaning the bin locations up as I do enjoy cleaning.

A typical day was started with conversation between management and staff to see what jobs we had on the go and to find out where they where as far as completion dates ,
What i learned at my time in Toyota was how important communication is between Management and employees , and i say this because even the director of manufacturing would take time out to say hello and about your family and your health 
My Co workers where amazing from the engineers , department managers  we all worked as a team to solve problems , and they valued your input .
There was nothing i could say that was hard about my job except it could be very demanding when there was a large breakdown which stopped the production of cars 
I enjoyed coming to work every day , and looking forward to the next challenge , 
the hardest part and saddest moment was when i took a redundancy package to move over to Perth so that my son could study here in Western Australia , Toyota and its employees and management where like family to me

Toyota has a definite culture of pushing yourself and not being satisfied with the status quo. Like all organisations, each business unit has its own alignment and maturity with the Toyota way. Most work is outsourced. You need some thick skin at times as the culture is self reflection and criticism with the objective of personal and process improvement. Do not let the approach-ability of managers fool you - it is hierarchical and you can get in trouble if you stray outside your line manager. Authority is also one level above responsibility so you are continually justifying your decisions to a higher manager and possibly many other stakeholders. Go to the source is strongly encouraged. Advancement is slow and by consistent results and maintaining good relationship with line management.

Toyota was a fantastic place to work, there was endless opportunity for career progression and management was always supportive in developing you along your way.

A typical day at work included coaching and training new and existing staff, customer complaints and escalations, file reviews on existing staff members from accounts they had handled over the previous month. It also included collating the daily, weekly and monthly statistics for the centre.

The hardest part of the job was setting up a new call centre in another state, however this was also the most rewarding, as you could slowly see the centre start to take off in the right direction.

The most enjoyable part of the job was definitely the people I worked with, management was always supportive of each other and we were able to rely on each other and make the day a little easier on everyone involved.

I developed my skill in Problem solving and learned to tackle effectively the abnormalities I experienced at work by joining Continuous Improvement, Quality Control Circle, Safety Awareness, Suggestion Schemes and Cost Reduction Programs.
The hardest job I found is when I give support tp other Departmens which is not my common daily task.  And the most enjoyable part is when I contributed how to solve problems in production, safety,
cost and quality.

25 years at the Toyota spare parts warehouse, a toxic workplace dealing with workplace bullies mostly supervision, no chance of advancement unless your part of a favored group.  Often went home upset and even had to reach out to mental health professionals after constant abuse by supervisor.  Management never ever say good work, we were always told were not meeting their target and the target bar keeps rising.  I lost my youth and part of my soul in this vindictive divisive workplace, HR representatives are only to happy to escort you to the gate for any reason at all.   Supervision would even question you as to why your going to the toilet.  in summary I would not recommend this workplace to anybody, you will be worked very hard and your ONLY reward is money, nothing else at all.

As a maintenance fitter,I worked attached to Paint shop maintenance section.
At first I had to do morning checks for all of the machines to make sure that they are ready for production.  
Recheck in case any machines have any outstanding issues.
Repairing broken parts in order to use them again
Preventive Maintanance checks
During my work, I have learnt new skills, I coordinate with production management maintenance management engineers and production line workers to minimise my breakdown time.
I work as a team member all the time. We share our knowledge and help each other as needed.
I am always enjoying myself as a maintanance worker however some work made us over thinking. End of the day we all satisfied.
I enjoy the  working environment and ensuring the  machines run smoothly.
