Working closely with the principle director and the six assistant directors, lighting and sound technicians, continuity photographers, wardrobe stewards, makeup artists and props department officials to produce a product of international standard that is without fault and can be subjected to the most intense scrutiny without criticism.
The attention to detail for even the smallest of areas was of constant concern due to the aspect of ‘continuity’. That is, giving the impression that nothing has changed, particularly, after a day’s shooting or meal break. Lighting, costume and makeup was monitored for consistency and every ‘take’ and throughout the day. For example, consistency of makeup was under constant examination by the makeup artists as they continually studied the extra’s makeup through the day’s shooting. This included fingernail and all areas of the body that were exposed.
Site safety was also extremely important; even more so than a typical construction site as there was the added concern of children and animals (cattle, donkeys and goats) to observe. The film set was a series of facades supported by scaffolding. Therefore a high level of awareness of protruding objects was important. For general objects that are commonly regarded as capable of supporting the load of a person, these props were lightweight and frail and had to be treated very carefully at all times. 
Fire awareness: Ever aspect of fire safety were observed at all times. This was the duty of every person on the film site and any potential issue was to be brought to the attention of any of the production crew. Particularly when special effects were being used, such as pyrotechnics.
Environmental aspects and cleanliness and hygiene were the priority of all cast and crew. Recycling was meticulously observed as the production company was wanting to achieve an international recognition for their efforts to minimise waste and pollution, and ultimately reduce landfill.
The technicians, producers and directors as well as the other extras have come together and are all working to very tight deadlines. Providing my co-workers with an environment where unnecessary stress or personal issues that can be avoided, was the priority of all involved on the film-set.
Working with co-workers was not difficult at all. Except to say we all got to do new things we had never done before.
The management was terrific as they had to coordinate over 200 extras at one time, quickly and very efficiently, which was done very professionally. There was no hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable probably was that I got to part and control a trained donkey in my scenes.

Working at Disneyworld was hard and strenuous, yet fulfilling and educating. A typical day would range from a 6 hour shift to 14 hour day, weeks involved hours from 40 hours- 70 hours a week. Working in attractions involved walking in a moving belt, loading and unloading guests on and off the ride. Also involved hosting a show and crowd control for fireworks shows. There were a variety positions involved at each attraction that ranged from wheelchairs to operating the ride etc. 

Dealing with all kinds of people from all over the world, some being very very difficult, while keeping a level and open mind at all times. 
Constantly challenged everyday, having to deal with all kinds of situations you could think of, there was not one day that was the same, and no situation that was the same. 

Co workers involved people from all over the world, which was the greatest part of the job, being able to work with people from other places made it interesting, but also never having the same people on at the same time, always different. 

Hardest part of the job was the long hours, dealing with difficult guests and constantly being challenged mentally and physically. 
The biggest lesson learnt on this job was that hard work pays off, that nothing comes easy and that making the smallest gesture can change someones whole holiday. We had the power to make or break a families holiday, and seeing the smiles a family has after you do something small from them, especially the children is priceless.

Working at Disney Store as a whole has been an up and down experience for me. Night Shift is hard work as deliveries vary every night so you have to be ready to work with a plan of how your going to tackle your part of delivery. 

Management in the past was very organised but over the past year and a half it has been disappointing because I feel that some of the management team have no clue of what they are doing and it shows. 

The night team as a whole is a great team and they work really well together, but at points throughout my career with them, night shift members have left and come which leaves us with more work and uncertainty with having more help for bigger deliveries during sales or calendar events during the year. 

As a whole Disney is a great company for benefits like free Disney tickets, great discount, extra gifts throughout the year and pension. Day shift would be much better if you want to have the Disney experience.

There is no room for growth, once you start in a position that's pretty much where you will stay unless you are one of the favourites!
Salary is awful in comparisons to some stores especially with the amount of work they expect you to do in such a small time. 
Minus the company it's self you will make amazing friends, so just for that aspect it's worth it. If your heading towards this company be prepared to do nightshifts, late closing up till midnight, early opening at 7am.
Great for a Saturday job, but do not trust your career with Disney it will destroy you as a person.

Whilst the days may have been longer that one would like the management from the TOP encouraged and supported all employees. The team that I worked with were dedicated and focused, working through projects to ensure the optimum outcome for the company was achieved.ensuring that all disciplines delivered and co ordinated tasks was a main issue for control and scrutiny.
The most enjoyable part of working for NDY was working and compiling tasks with a professional group , without being micro managed.

I was able to gain much experience here as I was multi tasking,
I was in charge of the warehouse the office, all staff, sales, communicating with major accounts, importing, stock control , ordering, inwards and outwards goods, all freight, credit claims, customer service, liaise with international customers, all staff training and quality control.co workers were easy to get along with and i gained their respect.the hardest part of the job was not having the up to date equipment needed

From the start all the way til the end of my work, it has been such a joy working with the people from Disney. Everyone are just genuinely helpful and lovely, especially for a newbie like me.  Everything has been well though of, employee engagement is very evident and that everyone seems to always be happy when theyre at work. The positivity is contagious.

My job would be greeting all customers and serving them aswell. handling money such as handing them back change and using great manners. Giving kids their toys and seeing them smile, receiving feedback from customers about your manners and great customer service.
