Overall my experience working for Taco Bell has been more-or-less positive, with some notable exceptions.

Workload and intensity depend mostly on how well and effectively you and your team are able to work and communicate, but will vary with peak trade times and even your opening or closing team, but is ideal for students and people new to hospitality.

The issue, as with most workplaces, is found in management.
In my experience, my store has been subject to infighting and a lack of communication between managers and shift leaders that saw above average turnover.
Communication between management and team members is generally very poor, particularly when trying to pick up shifts or raising other work-related issues.

My store in particular experiences a massive degree of favouritism and nepotism, with managers rewarding their favourite workers and friends with increased hours, preferential treatment and much improved communication, even in cases where the employees in question are frequently absent, late or unavailable to work, regardless of if this comes at the expense of other employees.

Additionally, you are likely to be rostered on for days that you have already stated you aren't available to work, even when you have provided notice well in advance.

The work/management culture, by far, is the worst and most damaging  aspect of working at Taco Bell, and is the only thing preventing me from recommending them as an employer, however they are frequently hiring.

There are few reasons to enjoy this job. They were decent trainers, somewhat organised, efficient and proactive whilst working. Unfortunately, this is pointless due to the people who are unbearable to be around. Management were arrogant with a heavy superior complex. They acted like high schoolers in cliques with the staff they liked, who received many hours while others got one shift a week. Still, they continue to hire more staff knowing people will get no shifts. Other than the people they liked, they were two faced and rude. They would insult staff behind their backs, on headsets even while they were on shift together. The way they treat staff is heavily biased. They seem to get satisfaction talking dirt about teenagers with other teenagers even though they are grown adults. Shifts are added two days or even a day prior even though you received your official roster. This is done without permission and you get in trouble if you don’t turn up. A manager lied to me when they called me about not attending a shift they added a day before it was due. When I asked when it was added they pretended (or did check but chose to lie) saying that I got the shift on my official roster and lectured me. Yet, I have screenshot proof that a shift was added without permission a day before. They know what they are doing but will still blame you. Their integrity as a store continues to fall apart exponentially. If you value yourself as a person, do not work here.

Been working here for a while, and it has been terrible from the start. Some co-workers are nice but most of them hate each other and expect you to be on their side and cannot go a single shift without there being any drama. The only thing we can probably all agree on is that Taco Bell sucks. Most managers treat you terribly and make you do everything while they literally sit on their butts and complain about how we are doing everything wrong and that they are always carrying all of us while we are working our butts off and sometimes even doing the managers assigned jobs because they don't feel like it and also they give out shifts based on whom they liked the most, so if they don't like you ain't getting many shifts, and it gets worse when you ask for time off or have to call in sick, there has been times when I had to call in sick because I was badly sick then I either had barely and to no shifts for the following weeks. The newer kids barely get trained than are yelled at for not knowing how to do something. Customers treat us like were from another dimension and think we can get everything done quickly with the snap of our fingers even if we say there will be a little wait. The only reason I'm still working here is just for the SMALL amount of money I get paid for and as soon as I can go somewhere better I will be and hopefully the others will too especially the younger ones because none of us deserve this treatment.

As my first job, I learnt so much from working at Taco Bell. Obviously every location has a different environment, but mine prepared me to work high speeds and efficiently. I made many friends and most coworkers were amazing, but its only downfall was a few of the managers.
They were stressful, aggressive and would blame their problems on the team members. Me and a few other members quit recently due to this problem, but nonetheless, a great place to get work experience. 

It is super fast-paced and can become stressful at times, especially if it's your first time but that's to be expected with fast food. It can be overwhelming having so many orders to complete in such a short time but with the right team with you, it's a breeze. Only con for me was management, way too harsh on the people who had only just started and didn't really help train them fully. They basically expected you to know what to do and if you made a mistake, you were looked down upon, no matter how minuscule which, personally, gave me a lot of anxiety. Actual co workers were the best though.

Taco Bell has a great work environment, and you’ll make plenty of new friends along the way. At times it can get stressful but you will just learn that it’s a part of life and it’s just in the moment. Working at Taco Bell I have grown to be more confident and outgoing and I say it will help me in getting to where I want to be in life. 

As one of the employees that started working early, I loved working there. Don't be afraid to talk to your team members as they can help you. Everything was 5 stars until the management changed. The last few managers hired are neither fun nor good at what they do and that puts the whole team down. On top of that, they think they own you and can boss you around. Last few days, seems the restaurant hasn't been cleaned therefore lots of dust and dirt have gathered ontop of areas that aren't cleaned to which my respiratory system have reacted badly to and affected me to do my work.

Taco Bell or any fast food store is definitely a good first job experience for anyone as it allows you to build confidence and gain experience which is especially beneficial at this type of environment where it is very fast paced. However the store was badly managed, coworkers were meh (one or two were nice) and the pay was horrible. Worked here when i was 15 doing the same amount of work as everyone else but getting paid veryyy unfairly. But I guess that’s just junior pay rates for you

Would NOT recommend working here. The staff are very judgemental and rude, not accepting of new staff members within their group. They treat people like dirt and did not provide adequate training. They expect you to know everything with one quick, rushed explanation. If you ask questions or help on the job, they roll their eyes and are blatantly rude. The real corporate culture within this business is disgusting. There's a reason they are always looking for new staff. 

I worked as a Customer Service Representative, in the call center receiving incoming calls to implement or disconnect phone service, explain billing, at the now defunct Pacific Northwest Bell office in Bellvue,WA. The Bell companies are well organized and highly professional phone service providers, and to that end, they provide excellent on the job training and self improvement education. Salaries & benefits are very desirable.
