My tenure in this company was put simply a nightmare! Apart from the fortnightly day off and the salary which was not too bad, the rest of it was despicable.
This company had a culture of back stabbing, back biting, rumor mongering and worst of it all a boss who was just too naive to believe any "hype" given to him.
I worked with employees that exercised double standards, and I was absolutely relieved to leave and move on to a different company.
There is poor governance in their processes. Any failure cannot be tolerated and dealt with in the harshest manner. Tall poppy syndrom type of place whereby any attempt to disrupt the status quo with nimble ideas is met with full hostility.

Easily commutable from Perth.
Management systems are in transition from original Tiwest processes and procedures to global Tronox models.
Co-workers vary significantly in ability with some legacy issues that are being resolved.
Hardest part of the job is getting buy-in from indirectly connected internal clients.
Best part of the job are the people and the ability to construct your own teams.

High safety standards great team work always on a course due to being an advanced emergency member. Management always making wrong decisions due to lack of communication. Family orientated company with an equal opportunity based vision. Hardest part about the job was leaving the family and most enjoyable was learning and fine tuning my skills

Tronox as a company is a great place to learn and further your skills the co workers are good quality and the level of learning is great however the employment agent they use is rubbish and don't care about there employees unless they make there company money so it makes it not worth applying in most instances but if you make it its worth it

I worked at kwinana over ten years and would not recommend  the place to anyone.now its american run they hammer the employees and although they say safety is a priority you will be pushed into positions of just get it done and when it goes pear shaped they will hang u out to dry.only good feature is the roster

Got out of FIFO to be at home more, roster includes month off every 16 weeks, never work more than 3 shifts in a row, with days off in between days/nights. Kemerton plant has hazards like TiCl4 and chlorine gas but is mostly a safe place to work. Pay is alright, could be better, but there's opportunity to advance in competence = pay rise etc.

Highly toxic environment which unfortunately comes from the top management down. After working with Tronox for 13.5 years I had to leave for my own mental health. Tronox is 20 years behind the times. I cannot recommend this company.

12 hr day, computer monitoring in the morning followed by house keeping in afternoons small running repairs as required. excellent shift roster 4days on 4 days off 4 nights on 5days off. camp life is suitable

Contracted role  I was managing a team of painters, blasters and fabricators with altrad services day to day running of the remediation project including

busy mine and diverse with a floating dredging operation.
Many long term employees with a family like feel.

largest mineral sands producer in the world. Secure environment with plenty of mine life left.
