My Hours chahge frequently from 6.00am 7.00am to 8.00am starts due to work loads.  I am the person who covers for all the roles in this company when there are absentees.  I have a broad knowledge of the company.

My day begins serving drivers arriving at the dest to load and unload stock, coordination with the warehouse to get doors for them to use and ensuring all paperwork is up to date and all the chain of responsilbilty forms are completed.

While I am serving drivers I also answer phones and emails.

I then move th another desk around 9.00am to being the data entry of all orders leaving us the nest day and stock arriving it to us for the day.  While I am doing this I will all assist any customers with their queries and take bookings for containers and timeslots for the future.

At around 3.30pm I then move to another location where I complete all of the daily receipt reports and despatch logs and run reports for next days picks dispatchs and receipts.

On a Tuesday we print the customers Invoices for the week and I place them in the envelopes with any requested documentaion.

Around 4.00pm I then do the stock discrepancies change the staus of any Quaratine stock and trasfer stock from the blast to our freezer so the warehosue can do these movements at 5.00am the following morning.
 I enjoy being busy and the people I work with are a good bunch.

Start work at 6am everyday. Organise almost everything in the morning for the day to run smoothly. Things I do everyday are ;- get stacks of pallets into the warehouse using a pallet jack, have a forklift ready, change a battery if needs to, stack cartons on pallets coming on belt, scan them, record information on the tally sheet,wrap pallets and run the pallets to the loading area. 

I have learnt lots of things such as changing the batteries of forklift and pallet jack, different funtions of RF scanners, know all the codes for different products, recording of data on to tally sheets and etc.

Most of the time our section (retail ready) section runs smoothly.

My co-workers are very good and they work as a team. They support each other.

The hardest part is when we have too many pallets on the floor, it makes hard to drive forklift around.

I enjoy every part of the work.

Each day at work is different,working in cold conditions,planning your   shift and experience staff.also maintaining health and safety.Any part of the day can change suddenly with extra truck loads which staff will be taken from their job to another and the rest of the crew helping out.Best part of the day we all going home.

High paced environment dealing with all levels of staff including senior management.

Learned how to deal with drivers and staff from discipline issues through to training and rewards

People are friendly and easy to deal with. Simple organisation structure

it's a good place to work especially working with real people because half of the employees are two faced. better place to work before but when they change management it's all went to demoralized. no such part of the job are hard it's the people themselves are making it harder for themselves

Very physical work with no real customer satisfaction. Management were very fair but wanted more hours of overtime every day. Generally a good group of employee's. Salary was very good with a weekly bonus system rewarding hard work

Not the best place due to Managment at the site I worked at.
Some resistance to change and taking responsibility for safety.
Operation Staff were good to work with - Senior Management at the NSW State Level were difficult to work with

very productive during the shift.
