Spotless catering

This was my very first job and it was definitely intimidating. I wasn't sure what to expect and I didn't know how everything was going to work out. Upon arriving at my designated area, I was greeted warmly by my supervisor and she was shocked at how early I was. I was there around an hour early since my mum, who also applied for a position, had to be there earlier than I. More and more people showed up as it got closer to the start of the football game and we all stood around in silence. Everyone was too shy to speak to anyone else and those that had worked here before all stuck to one group and spoke among themselves. The job was boring for the most of it since we all stood around in one spot, waiting for corporate box orders to comes out of the kitchen before we could deliver them. Though when we got into the swing of things, it was good to be doing something, no matter how repetitive walking back and forth past the locker rooms may seem. The hardest part of the job was probably moving the eskies from the grandstand since there were pretty heavy and I'm not all that strong. The eskies themselves don't have much to grip on in the first place so there is a lot of strain on your fingers. The most enjoyable part though was when there was extra food and we got to pig out on fish and chips, calamari, chicken garlic balls and all sorts.

- I would work in the food sections at patersons stadium, Serving chips, Making hotdogs and burgers
- I learnt a lot about customer service and how much hard work it takes to serve customers during the key periods
- The managers worked well with their staff getting along with them on a more personal basis to make work more enjoyable
- Some of the co-workers were only there to earn money and they were the ones who didn't earn the money because they didn't do their work properly
- The hardest part of the job was the frantic periods of half-time and Quarter time of the Football
- The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to learn new skills that i can use in everyday life

A day in my role was always fast paced, varied and interesting . 
Having worked in the education, events and business sector for the company I have had to interact with a lot of co workers and management and overall it was a positive experience and it was always useful to learn from another person perspective and experience .
Some days were so busy you wondered how you would cope but in the end with the support of the team it all got done.
The day to day interaction with the customers was always the most enjoyable part of the day, being able to provide them with a happy outcome was always the most enjoyable part of my role.

It's not a happy environment fast pace for a job that you can't get anywhere with the money and no rewards to be in this job we need more rewards and more smiling faces for the carers we have in the place I feel like if you want a job young its not for you but this job is not for a family person either it needs to be a young retirement person with no ties for the money it's sad

I would review Spotless Catering Services well as the job was flexible for myself to balance work, university assessment and social life. The management ran organised and was very supportive towards workers and other staff members, as well as guests.

I found spotless catering pretty good work with over the different areas I worked in from Melbourne g p to MCG to aged care  all had its good times and bad but overall I enjoyed the different styles of cooking  and was given a opportunity to see what spotless does 

Worked with Chef who was really nice. I prepared sandwich fillings and made up orders for sandwiches and wraps. I served customers at the till, and washed dishes using industrial dishwashers/dryers. General Cleaning.

I really enjoyed there they motivated staff every week they had steps award they are very friendly lots of good m experience chef there. It was like my family there pleasure to go to work

I worked for this company when the 2000 games were held in Sydney at Homebush Stadium as a Kitchen/Hand.  

I served food and refreshments to the customers at a stall and did pot wash out the back and other kitchen duties, everyday was a new job to do.

When working at the stadium 1300 smiles I was promoted to corporate box kitchen after second or third shift. Overall experience was great highly recommend it to other people and still do so to this day.
