What is the best part of working at the company?
If your a casual through the agency you'll only see them on your induction day which fit me was 1hr unpaid before your 1st shift🥺
Thankfully I went to a section that has a weekly roster and good environment. Always on your feet and busy. Overall this section in run well however there's room for improvement but don't offer up any ideas cos RED hats are set in there ways cos they've been there forever and speak, act like gods🤣
2 breaks for a full shift with free meals so that's great. Trying to find gumboots that fit is a nightmare 👀
Unpaid tool box meeting before every shift somewhat informative. 
Red hats are quick to lay blame and it's a eclipse occasion if they give praise! Don't go permanent cos the rate is pathetic and you get paid fortnightly. High turnover of casuals due to inconsistent rostering unless you work in certain sections. 
High level of responsibility where I am and pay rate is not reflected. Going through the slow period now and getting hours is the reason on the hunt for another job!
The place is very clean and overall run well however definitely room for improvement!


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Red hat bosses not the (Champions) literally demand speed, scheduling irrespective of what's happening. 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In my section excellent. Next door where the most staff are is like in my words stationary robots🤣
Dunno if some of them have the light switched on or a just plain rude with zero manners!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Read the schedule, check everything, set up your station and be 10 steps ahead.
Keep your nose in your face and do whatever is asked. 
Do your job, be proactive and you'll be right!

Walking into work I ask what everyone got up to in the weekend and it makes me feel apart of the team, I enjoy talking with my fellow work mates.

I have seen and learnt so many different types of food we make for Qantas Airlines

I have good communication with the supervisor, because of my quick learning She had me trained on different types of work, within 2 weeks i was doing a lot more and it was such an experience to be able to learn so much, at the same time it was fun.
 
Working together as a team makes the day go fast, i got involved with every conversation, got to know what my fellow work mates liked/disliked, and so did they with me.Working individually is also good, keeping busy and concentrating on the task or order to be complete.

Bad feed back is always hard in a workplace and it pushes me to do better, and doing so i get more good feed back than bad.

The workers are all nice and friendly, help each other. The team work is awesome. Team Leaders are really good, they work together with thier team. I enjoyed the work as it makes the day go fast and very easy.
I have learnt that you must be able to keep up with the conveyor belt so it is a fast -paced job and I like it. management meeting in the mornings on feedback which is really good. Stretches every morning is awesome an awesome idea.
The annoying part is when the machines break down and it is downtime for getting the target done. It is an ongoing issue which something should be done about it, maybe new machines or have the machines checked or serviced on a whole day job maybe Sunday when there is no production.

This is not a good place to work. Management listen to other peoples opinion too often and draw the wrong conclusions. Especially if there is a problem they do not first look for a solution to solve a problem. They go full blazing guns and flat out accuse because they have even spoken to the person/s involved. They have already made their decision. What can you do. you don't get asked, you get told. The only way you get listened to, is to have a Union Rep beside or you threaten legal action.
I have seen it and witnessed this happen so many times.

I enjoyed working at Snap Fresh. Amazing team work, everyone took care of each other like family, Free food to enjoy and lots of fun whilst working hard as a team. I Loved working 5 days a week and working over time when needed.

Workplace is nice. Staff are working in a team. Company practice  a good workplace culture. Particular in work place and safety. They provide free lunches, physio support onsite. Regularly refreshing us of the training we need in the company, like safety drill, understand the halal and handling it. Food safety and others.

I have worked as casual with this company as casual employee and over 10 years as permanent. With this pandemic I'd been stood down since only 2 years ago when Qantas sold Snap Fresh to Dnata and that's the reason why we're not getting job keeper money because Dnata is owned by foreign company. But would like again to work for Snap Fresh again. Just don't know if it will open again.

Great experience working within this company, great atmosphere and great bunch of people to work with, Management are very respectful to their employees. This Company always lookouts for each individual no matter if you are a permanent employee or a Casual employee, we are all treated the same. 

This was a medium sized company when I started and we went from producing 8000 meals a day to up to 100,000 meals a day.
It is a company who always look at ways to improve production which encouraged a work culture second to none because everyones views were heard and if viable were implemented.
