You would be given the run down on what you needed to do and only through practice would you get better at it. It was only 1 or 2 shifts a week on weekends mostly but the pay was good, nothing to sustain yourself on though. It would occasionally get heated if you messed up, as most of the filming was being aired live, so it was important that you caught the footage properly. Once the day was over, you pack up, go home, and don't have to think about it until next weekend. There was no incentive to do more than you were given, which is good.

this role is suited for someone who it money driven, its a great job to earn money. 
some one who strives in a office environment and wants to get there head down and focus on calls.

Toxic and antiquated environment that was all about sales. The role was advertised as customer service and as there was an element of that I very quickly learned that it was all about making sales.

As a working mother it became more difficult for me to progress. I was forced out of this company, because I was not the boss's best mate. Cronisum at both it's best and worst.

Great place to work. Very flexible to allow work/life balance. The culture is what you make it. Progression can be painful and time consuming, but once you're in, it's easy enough to move around 

Working for Sky was my first job as a 17 year old and it was a good experience. I had enjoyable times learning about the work place and what the future held for me.
