Operations manager needs to be trained for people skills. Very poor communication and peoples skills

Co-workers are excellent in what they do, everybody knows what they're doing from start to finish, but because of the lack of communication from Ops Manager, co-workers can sometimes get confused and unsure of their duties, but do well when left alone to do their work.

the day typically started with sorting freight wheather it was large deliveries or small parcels, most of the co workers were great to be around but the best part was being outdoors & meeting & dealing with the clients weather new or existing

I learnt how to problem solve from being dropped in the deep end with what you had, and also how do things also learnt a lot about other neighbouring industries ie. Electrical, Plumbing, Diesel Mechanics Welding.

Business was a family business before it was sold - the business was then run into the ground before being sold again.

It was a real shame because in its day Skilled was an a great business
