I was transfer to Western Australia to work as the Customer Liaison Officer. I was made redundant and relocated back to Newcastle. My role was to contact customer in relation to any issues they might have had. I found that all customers have different interpretations of events and you need to understand what they want or need. Due to my vast experience in customer service rolls management  where always there for support and had the confidence in me to do my role with minimal supervision. I had a very good relationship with my co-workers as at times we required assistance for other areas to complete our tasks. The hardest part of the job was advising customers the outcome of there issues when they were not given the answer that they were expecting. The most enjoyable part was being able to have a win, win outcome with the customers and making each customer feel they have been listed to and all the enquires we actioned. .

Sign on sub-contactors JSA and excavation permits on site and discuss plan for the day.
Process data captures and update plans from previous day.
Quality check yesterdays completed work.
Pre walk next part of build and take pre dilapidation photo's.
Process variations required for next part of build.
Distribute materials from warehouse and load trucks.
Carry out HSE Audits
Post walk completed area, take post dilapidation photo's and complete red line drawing for submission.
Measure completed work for the day and complete data capture forms.
I learnt to be more proactive, to create & be part of a team that assists each other in daily tasks.
The most enjoyable part of the job was delivery a completed area of the NBN Co infrastructure ready for handover to the public.

Variation for field construction to technician management of Traffic control and Parking control systems.

The initial learning experience covering the technical aspects of traffic control,programming and management was very rewarding and at the same time demanding. 

Very Interesting position and the job was quite rewarding considering the results achieved.

When you are aware that you can effect each and every drivers day who use the traffic system in Townsvlle and the savings that can be directly achieved by them in vehicle operation it was quit rewarding.

The company was not equipped to take on this contract. They had very inexperienced staff in management and design. The Majority of the workers had no real experience doing what they were required to do. High rotation of  staff went through. Hours started low then proceeded to rise. Lack of support form managerial and supervisory personnel.

This was a great company to work for when I was in their employment. I don't know what they are like now but I found that the senior management where highly regarded in nthe industry.
every one seamed to get on and if they ever had a problem they seamed to be able to work through it.

One of the best aspects was the overall support within the workforce, the team of people were dedicated and loyal to ensuring the business was successful, this included the entire management team. Great Place to work.

It was nice working for this utility company in Fiji. Learned alot with regards to Network equipment's from Generation - Transmission and Distribution to end users.

Although the project came to a halt Silcar as a company performed a large portion of the work at a high level of performance.
