A typical day at work means helping customers with taking in prescription, handing out prescription, assisting customers to find products suitable for their needs and requirements not only that but also a product which is within their budget! Making tickets, completing planograms, helping elderly with finding shoes or show sizes. I have defiantly learnt a lot since being here and defiantly gained a lot more experience and knowledge on products through the trainings and a lot about the expectations of a pharmacy assistant. Management is great if you've got a problem they will attempt there best to fix it immediately, flexible, trustworthy and reliable! Also disciplined ! Co-workers are the reason i look forward to going in to work every week they are all just so friendly, easy going, encouraging , chilled, supportive and very helpful ! I have to admit lunch time is probably the first enjoyable part of work then everything else from the floor to the all the workers. I don't think I have ever come across such a friendly bunch of people who always want the best for you!

Enjoyed some of my time working at Sharetea. The point-of-service system was fairly easy to operate and loading toppings for a drink was fine with some practice. The workspace itself was fairly crowded and often busy, so not great if you don't work well with a fast-paced business. No real formal scheduling at my location, but you could pretty much wear whatever you wanted as long as you had on an apron. Management was not very accommodating to trainees/new employees, often shouting at mistakes and snatching orders. Rostering and training did not often coordinate well as shifts were days apart from each other; not a very consistent format for a method of training to get the new employee accustomed to the way the store was run; very high expectations for someone who is not there often enough to know the minute details of the job. During the slow shifts, it was a fairly enjoyable place to work. Cleaning was easy and could be done quickly. Would be fine working with the company again, but definitely at a different location.

This is a good first time job for teenagers and young adults, but beware of the lack of management, the part time staff are basically running the store on their own as the managers are always changing, sometimes even being managed remotely from another state! The managers don’t care about the employees and only care about sales figures, ignore people’s availability and roster them on shifts they made clear that they’re unavailable for. Extremely high turnover rate for both part time staff and managers. Staff that are incompetent aren’t reprimanded for their incompetence, leading to many staff being lazy and never improving their performance. Terribly understaffed at times, and managers are not sympathetic towards this, expecting a single staff to be able to do everything from running the store to doing the stocktake, all within an unreasonable amount of time.

my boss is unorganised but flexible, which is the whole reason as to why working at sharetea is so unpredictable

he pays me minimum wage +1 (still haven't received the payment btw, told me it'd arrive in 24h and it's been a good week) and left me with the entire store for 20 minutes after 'going to the bathroom' on my first day

he taught me nothing and there was no one else there on the shift, i was just by myself trying to deal with a large influx of customers by my own newbie self

that may not be bad but the other day he went out for 2 hours and 30 minutes after saying he was 'going to the bathroom'.

From the circumstances that I was placed in at work. One of the managers was really rude and would expect you to know how to do everything even if you were new. The other workers there were find and could be approached normally, but the leadership/management team had little respect. The pay was bad and the lowest I've ever seen or received. I wouldn't recommend this job. 

the only thing that are enjoyable is the coworkers, other than that the store is really dirty and some stuff even broken and never got replaced. the pay is really low, they only pay the minimum wage listed on VIC. work can be too stressful if u get a busy shift which is weekends and sometimes we don’t even got a chance to take our break and they don’t want to roster more workers for weekends which will be really tiring for whoever works weekends.

When you have training, it will be really fun, the trainer talk to you and you can share about your life or whatever. After 1 months training, you have to prove them keep you or not. You have to work alone after and it really bad. There is one staff in a shift to deal with customer service, uber order, customer order, prepare for stocks and make sure everything tidy. Plus, if you lost money , you have to pay by your money.

I think its mainly cause of my own bosses (presten location)
But they never replaced air conditioning-unsafe for workers
Multiple burns bc they dont want to upgrade equipment 
Bosses and members reviewed own store to boost their score 💀
Some workers are toxic and like to blame others for things that were their fault bc i workers there for shorter time

At Sharetea, franchise owner provides you the experience and develop your skills as a first time worker or a normal staff just like a cafe shop. The shifts are flexible but you are also expected to perform and follow guidelines. Not much penalty rates for overtime/weekends/public holiday.

It was my first job in Australia so I didn't expect too much, just wanted to learn and have more experience. And by that time it matched my timetable at uni so i was pleased to work more hours to earn an income and gain an insight of how working environment are.
