A typical day at work was about relationships, making sure that everyone was happy at work and that was translated to caring of residents and significant others. Interesting part was to learn new language (Italian), residents were so much interested to teach me their language. Although we all from different background and culture, we respected each other and had fun in describing interrelated words that may mean a different meaning to the other language. 
Respect and open communication was like the rule in that team, supporting each other  when busy and complimenting each other in issues that were challenging. 
My core workers had vast experience and with rich cultural backgrounds. Most of them communicated in Italian, and that was really fun to work with them. Although, most of them were junior nurses, some were allied health and brought diversity in the caring of residents. 
Personally, l learnt heaps from the most  junior to the resident, in terms of their culture, how they want to be looked after, their likes and dislikes, different skills, language, aged care policies and law, electronic medication giving, icare in clinical assessment and care plans. How to manage challenging behaviours of residents and staff alike, escalation of cares, and the importance of communicating with the executive when it comes to shared decision making.
The hardest part of the job was working longer hours, at times double shifts due to lack of staff, and of course the most enjoyable part of that job was cracking jokes, laughing and enjoying watching residents dancing and enjoying themselves.

a typical day at work is to get everyone ready for the morning for breakfast so all showers and sponge has to bed done so the resident can have there breakfast.
PLUS assist in there Daily living.

I learn a lot in everyday life even when it comes to the residents needs and care.

the workplace culture Respect one another.

The hardest part of the job is i don't like to see the residents un happy because it gets be down.because we are there to help them with all needs.

THE most enjoyable part of the job is it does not feel like work i enjoy coming in and putting a smile on the residents face and complete my daily tasks

my days start with  my books on side and a thought that how  can I create  a environment  where people  forget their pain and comes out in their comfort zone. I work in  such a environment where everyone is  helpful and I care  resident who brings a sense of belonging to me. the  hardest part of job is when  you  you loose  someone who belong to you like residents otherwise  I love challenging  environment where  you work with  the  aim of  something.

Working environment is very good I would always love to work here but the management is very biased about shift and rostering which unfair for everyone. Have to evaluate everyone performance according to their efforts. Everything else is fine.

Staff are friendly and residents are also friendly suitable staff room well equipped..residents always positive and have smiles all the time. Families enjoy the company of staff and communicate to staff when need assistance 

I started my career and I was accorded all the necessary education and training to support me. The structure were well pronounced and made compliance easy. I value the association and experience gained.

It was wonderful working with them. It was beautiful 2 years I worked with Scalabrini. Management was great. Great teamwork. Unity among all the staffs was appropriabile.

If you don’t understand job you’re will work even harder because oldest workers don’t really like to help with any advice.

very nice place to work, friednly staff and flexible hours. 
clients are beautiful as is the villiage that you work in, a bit of a travel problem but other than that all was good.
