What is the best part of working at the company?
I volunteered at an amazing store in Treendale near bunbury the staff and volunteers made me feel so welcome from day one I learnt self respect, self worth, self confidence, self love,self appreciation  I received love, respect, appreciation acceptance and felt valued  from everyone, even tho I left through unfortunate circumstances we are still like family and I miss them all the most 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Just hoping that I was presenting my best work, and the actual leaving of the company 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Absolutely amazing my boss was an absolutely Queen at times the work load was quite a bit but the amazing team that I worked with, we got through it 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Started my volunteering usually between 9 am and 10 am got the online orders done before anything else which included sorting ,cleaning , pricing the bric o brac then either giving the trolley of stock to people in the actual shop to put on the shelf's or doing it myself, earlier in my time there Id be tagging clothes, hanging clothes doing anything I saw that needed doing or was instructed to do also processing the toys but my most valued position there was uplifting the spirits of my fellow workers and making light of situations that arose within the day

Its been great full for me to have experience with Salvos Beechboro WA. As a new comers in Australia, I felt so lucky to be one of the Salvos family members, because the team at Salvos Beechboro WA is fun, friendly and always sharing their knowledge to educate new people like me.]]

It's a great place to volunteer and get some experience in the workforce. 

The management is exceptional and there's always a job that needs to be done.

The people are all friendly and it's a safe environment.

Good place to start off with zero experience in retail or customer service. You learn a lot of basic skills like visual merchandising, interacting with customers, and keeping things organised.

Working with amazing people doing a (most of the time) stress-free environment. Interacting with customers is great and the job is great for retail experience.

It will depend on where you are, but there will be good people. I honestly got lucky and we're with the most polite/sincere people. Got a new job after six months volunteer exp. Honestly could find one with less if that's your goal

it was a very good experience even tho it was volunteer possion I had a lot of fun whilst while volunteering but the only thing wrong was there wasn't much to do they could use more games and more food verity

Give your heart and soul. Get promised permanent paid work to be constantly overlooked due to friends and family getting in before you.

Sucked the very heart out of me.

Will never donate or help and salvos now 

Salvos created a very welcoming experience and the staff were amazing to work with. I learned alot from the team. The mose enjoyable part of the job is being able to have customer satisfaction.

My experience has been really fun! I love organising things and this is a great way for me to do that. I get to make my own decisions on set displays and my manager is really nice. Everyone is great to work with!
